like english with you being both 2nd pers sing and 2nd pers plur

or german with sie being 3rd pers sing female, 3rd person plurar and also honorific

also in german the declension is so extremely stupid

I took german in hs remember almost nothing

ihr is also the 2nd person plural

so its you plural

or possesive for "his" would be sein

sein is also the to "be" in german

its all so mingled up

its so digsuting

things like this you get used to though

the real problem in any language is vocabulary and how to use it properly

i dont get used to it it irritates me
