The video I saw was someone who kept their index finger depressed through the draw and accidentally pulled the trigger. Was there a different reason behind the report?

2019-12-27 21:21:22 UTC

I'm not completely savvy on this, never owned one, never used one

2019-12-27 21:21:46 UTC

There was some of that. In the three reports that actually had SERPAs it was a training issue with the Glocks. They couldn't replicate it with standard SA/DA guns.
The other incident with the Kydex holster was because the draw string of his windbreaker got caught inside the trigger guard of the glock and because of its unsafe design, when he pushed it down into the holster it pulled the trigger and discharged.

It was really a perfect storm of the wrong kind of holster for the wrong kind of gun.

2019-12-27 21:51:40 UTC

Any of you guys got boogmobiles?

2019-12-27 21:52:32 UTC

Yeah its called a 9mm to the back of the head and drive bitch.

2019-12-27 21:53:19 UTC

Lol

2019-12-27 21:53:29 UTC

You dont keep your car stocked?

2019-12-27 21:54:04 UTC

Keep a booboo kit, a first aid it, tools, lifeboat rations, water in my truck

2019-12-27 21:54:48 UTC

Most likely if I get stranded somewhere I can hang out a while.

2019-12-27 21:55:00 UTC

My car is mainly geared for work, which usually includes my gear and stuff for my job. First aid, emergency supplies, etc etc. But I don't stock it for some SHTF nonsense.

2019-12-27 21:55:22 UTC

it's nonsense until it happens lol

2019-12-27 21:55:31 UTC

You should have general survival preparedness man

2019-12-27 21:55:35 UTC

OH SHIT GRID DOWN maybe i should've prepared 🤔

2019-12-27 21:55:55 UTC

Yeah here that's called tuesday...

2019-12-27 21:56:06 UTC

I just keep my aid bag, tools, portable thing to jump my vehicle also extra food and water

2019-12-27 21:56:39 UTC

And if I’m not going on base I have a gun

2019-12-27 21:57:29 UTC

I'm a fan of the life boat rations for food in my truck. It is resilient to heat and stays good for a long time. So you can just leave it and forget it

2019-12-27 21:57:50 UTC

I just took a box of MRE’s

2019-12-27 21:58:19 UTC

where do you get them

2019-12-27 21:58:31 UTC

Off a truck or storage room

2019-12-27 21:58:33 UTC

I live out in the sticks, what you called survival preparedness, we call groceries. What you call a failure of the system/break down of society, happens about twice a month.

2019-12-27 21:58:42 UTC

i want some you lucky fuck

2019-12-27 21:59:13 UTC

You can get MREs off amazon pretty cheap. I have a couple of cases, mainly just cause I kinda like them. Love me some BBQ rib MRE.

2019-12-27 21:59:23 UTC

MREs actually dont last as long and can spoil if left in a hot car in the summer

2019-12-27 21:59:25 UTC

That’s a good MRE

2019-12-27 21:59:44 UTC

Yeah you have to store them properly.

2019-12-27 21:59:47 UTC

It’s easy to replace MRE’s. I just take another box.

2019-12-27 22:00:00 UTC

itch you're active duty?

2019-12-27 22:00:05 UTC

I supplement mine with emergency Y rations and Romen noodles.

2019-12-27 22:00:07 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-27 22:00:10 UTC

ew

2019-12-27 22:00:22 UTC

I got a few mountain houses for when I want some flavor

2019-12-27 22:00:24 UTC

Lifeboat rations are literally meant to be stored in horrible conditions

2019-12-27 22:00:53 UTC

yeah but they taste like shit. The lemon bar ones are about the only ones I can stand.

2019-12-27 22:01:48 UTC

Yeah that is true

2019-12-27 22:01:51 UTC

Let’s move this over to <#659316074163994636> or <#659316379307999242>

2019-12-27 22:02:08 UTC

won't this technically count as gear?

2019-12-27 22:02:13 UTC

But then again this literally only for if I get stranded in my truck in the middle of nowhere
