My president

Now that’s something I can get behind

Wanted to drop in and say the founders originally weren't going to include the 2 amendment in the bill of rights because THEY THOUGHT IT WAS A HUMAN RIGHT. The anti-federalists convinced them to add it in fear of the government attempting to take away these HUMAN rights. Gotta love the anti-federalists 🙂

Interesting

2020-01-16 02:07:16 UTC

Man there are some fucked up subs

2020-01-16 02:12:35 UTC

its like they dont understand life or society or that they voluntarily agreed to work

2020-01-16 02:12:41 UTC

like you can just not work if you want

2020-01-16 02:12:47 UTC

dont expect me to take care of you though

2020-01-16 02:12:48 UTC

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Firearms_Act#Miller_case
The government's argument was that the short barreled shotgun was not a military-type weapon and thus not a "militia" weapon protected by the Second Amendment, from federal infringement.

2020-01-16 02:13:51 UTC

i feel like this means fully automatic weapons should be available to private citizens

2020-01-16 02:13:55 UTC

since the military uses them

2020-01-16 02:14:04 UTC

100% should be available

2020-01-16 02:14:34 UTC

I feel like Nukes should be available to private citizens as well

2020-01-16 02:14:45 UTC

if you can afford one?

2020-01-16 02:14:46 UTC

haha

2020-01-16 02:14:48 UTC

At least a tomahawk missile

2020-01-16 02:15:29 UTC

i feel nukes could be argued against

2020-01-16 02:15:32 UTC

Who says I need to afford one, get me a few hundred smoke detectors and I can build one with enough time and patience

2020-01-16 02:15:35 UTC

since its not really a military thing

2020-01-16 02:15:53 UTC

True

2020-01-16 02:16:02 UTC

i mean it is but it isnt

2020-01-16 02:16:03 UTC

you know haha

2020-01-16 02:17:35 UTC

A boy scout once built a nuclear reactor in his mom's garage with 20ish smoke detectors and shit from a hardware store down the road, I'm pretty sure nukes are not outside of some people's abilities honestly

2020-01-16 02:17:55 UTC

possibly, hard to get the refined uranium required for a nuke

2020-01-16 02:18:16 UTC

^

2020-01-16 02:18:57 UTC

as far as weapons to private citizens goes, i think anything that is Standard Issue to army should be available

2020-01-16 02:19:14 UTC

I agree 100%

2020-01-16 02:19:17 UTC

i believe private citizens of the old days owned cannons, warships

2020-01-16 02:19:19 UTC
