Good thing I know both.

2019-12-27 00:57:00 UTC

Lots of folks buy med gear and have no clue how to use it

2019-12-27 00:57:03 UTC

Thats good

2019-12-27 00:57:21 UTC

Well unfortunately right now there isn't much I can do yet

2019-12-27 00:57:25 UTC

If anyone has any questions on good med gear or training. I got good experience.

2019-12-27 00:58:03 UTC

Poor as shit due to my own laziness so if something bad happens to me I understand I have no one else to blame but myself, but I'm getting myself out of the hole I put myself in

2019-12-27 01:00:14 UTC

Got to start somewhere. There also is plenty of decent gear out there that’s not to expensive. Focus on getting yourself comfortable first.

2019-12-27 01:00:58 UTC

Yeah at least I'm not in VA though having to worry about a potential boogaloo everyday

2019-12-27 01:01:03 UTC

Although VA does border my state

2019-12-27 01:01:47 UTC

People focus way too much on tactical gear and overspend

2019-12-27 01:02:46 UTC

Having a good quality gun, some spare parts and ammunition is important but so is having a few months worth of food and water 🤷‍♂️

2019-12-27 01:03:15 UTC

Focusing on water is better than food.

2019-12-27 01:03:26 UTC

yeah you'll die faster without water

2019-12-27 01:03:32 UTC

You can go weeks without food. Or very little food.

2019-12-27 01:03:53 UTC

Yeah, but canned beef stew is cheap and has a long ass shelf life

2019-12-27 01:04:21 UTC

Yes it does.

2019-12-27 01:04:36 UTC

Same with spam, don’t really need mountain house meals that cost a fortune that last 20 years

2019-12-27 01:04:39 UTC

I just take boxes of MRE’s off trucks.

2019-12-27 01:05:01 UTC

When you can rotate beef stew/spam and other such items

2019-12-27 01:05:43 UTC

And the money you save can go towards other essentials but I guess that all depends if you plan on bugging out or holding down somewhere

2019-12-27 01:06:12 UTC

Currently in the process of getting 25 acres

2019-12-27 01:06:52 UTC

Lots of variables that need to be considered besides plate carrier and an AR, a boogaloo can be the result of both political and environmental reasons

2019-12-27 01:07:25 UTC

So I like to be prepared for multiple scenarios and not just boogeymen/alphabet bois

2019-12-27 01:07:38 UTC

Talking like

2019-12-27 01:08:03 UTC

If the economy collapsed or if a disaster happened knocking off the whole power grid?

2019-12-27 01:08:06 UTC

Things like that?

2019-12-27 01:08:09 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-27 01:08:27 UTC

Tornadoes, Great Depression 2.0

2019-12-27 01:09:11 UTC

Off topic but I remember that's when the NFA passed

2019-12-27 01:09:18 UTC

The first great depression

2019-12-27 01:09:49 UTC

Floods and so on. Gonna look awfully dumb mag dumping into flood water because you live in a potential flood zone but never thought of sand bags or other material to help prevent the water from getting to your house

2019-12-27 01:10:31 UTC

That’s the big divide between the preppers and boogbois

2019-12-27 01:10:36 UTC

People actually buy houses and land in flood zones lol

2019-12-27 01:10:41 UTC

lol

2019-12-27 01:10:58 UTC

We had a flood last year in an area that had never flooded

2019-12-27 01:11:19 UTC

Where I live there's never been a flood but in the rural part of the state floods do happen

2019-12-27 01:11:45 UTC

Depends on terrain, soil composition

2019-12-27 01:11:55 UTC

Trees and so on.

2019-12-27 01:12:22 UTC

If you have soil erosion and more clay towards the top guess what?

2019-12-27 01:12:46 UTC

Lots of variables.

2019-12-27 01:12:58 UTC

And they change over time
