BF1 was probably one of my favorite shooters like that
Speaking of BF and the p90 in I think it was Bad Company, the P90 was nuts, you could kill accurately with a head shot from like half way across the map. In the next game they made the guns more realistic from experience.
lol damn
I used to carry a P90 back in my PMC days. I loved it. We called it the lunch box of death.
Very intuitive design
I'm so jealous of you
I just hate the railing
Did you use the P90 triple rail? Or was it the regular P90 with the integrated ring sight?
Regular
I was more so asking mrblack
but cool
The railing isn't too bad, its actually great for mouthing optics. It did have some other issues. the one I had had the trip pick rail. I only ever used a red dot on it.
Would you say the P90 is better than the MP7?
Way better. I hate the MP7. aside from being ugly it has bad ergonomics.
Yeah so many civies here yeet over the MP7
Maybe it's due to how unobtainable it is?
The P90s cartridge was proven to be more effective than what the MP7 fires too
The p90s was way better the design made it super intuitive. Had it to someone and they just know how to use it. Its ambidextious and the bottom ejection means you don't spray anyone with brass. Though it does create a slip hazard.
Gotta love to buddies brass getting in between your skin and plate carrier
Or down the back of your shirt
Yeah it's funny you mention that because P90 haters say the P90 has weird ergos that aren't intuitive
Lol the hot brass shuffle.
@Killerratchet nah they are just hating, The p90 was designed to fit perfectly with the ergonomics of the human body, that's why it looks a bit weird.
And to mention it was designed to be issued to rear echelon troops who don't normally see combat
So that'd be the gun they spend the most training on anyway
Well they were primarily deployed with urban and convoy opts. I carried mine primarily as a vehicle gun.
The major issues I had with it was the 5.7 round. I was the only guy in the company who used it cause no one else was carrying a 5.7 gun. The higher ups bitched about group cohesion and the second I had an accident with it they used that as an excuse to take it away from me.
Assholes
Shocker. Higher ups bitching.
I'd be upset if they took it from me lol
Yeah if only the 5.7 round was more widely adopted
What did they give you as a replacement
I got shunted over to an M4.
You accidentally discharged your P90?
Guess it makes me feel good knowing even PMC guys make mistakes
A guy I know ND’d on shift went and bought a box of 9mm replaced the round then later on during an ammo audit it came out lol
lol
Seems like everyone did it at least once
No, we were running killhouse drills. The bottom ejection of the P90, isn't an issue when you are in a vehicle, out doors and/or on the move while firing.
However in a kill house when you are mag dumping a 50rd 900rpm gun all day long, you tend to cover the floor in a lot of brass, which can become a trip/slip hazard. People were having slip issues here and there, and eventually I ended up slipping and falling on my ass. They used that one specific and unlikely condition to justify their complaints.
wow fucking dumb
Yeah, they only let me use it after that for convey/vehicle movement's because it was head and shoulders above what everyone else could do.
It was one of my favorite guns that I carried back then.
