Like within the week, there needs to be three concuring diagnoses. If it doesn't happen within a week, guns are given back
also it can only be for suspected mental disorders, not for "feeling threatened".
If someone is threatening someone, that is a criminal case.
If you file charges against someone for threatening you, and it turns out all they were doing was unloading some guns from their car after a range day, then that person needs to go down.

So in VA I've heard they want to crack down on indoor shooting ranges too
They want to pass a law where the shooting range has to be federally owned by the government, has to have mostly cops who use it, have to specifically put your address and phone number just to enter, etc

Also if something happens and the protest goes ugly, cops start arresting people you run the risk of turning a misdemeanor into felony just by being in the possession of a weapon during the arrest.
valid point! Each individual needs to decide how to be smart. I'm not from Cali and I don't know what their specific laws are. I saw this on IG and just trying to help spread the good word.

Not sure I'd carry at all at these protests. Again I dont want to catch felony charges. Even if you are innocent, fighting felony charges because you were rolled up with a gun is going to be way more expensive than fighting misdemeanor charges.
Weren't there protests when obama was president with people open carrying onto their state capitols?
