By technicality it was allowed, but the UK still took violent action against those who did attempt to establish communist beliefs in the UK or it's colonies.

@Deleted User Yet still in accordance to the communist control act, the party is still officially banned, the supreme court only for some reason made an exception for them in this case, which really did not make a difference in the end, because CPUSA fell apart anyways.
