@yung I might add that most of antifa are teenagers as well, with a significant portion being well off and or college students.
That really redpilled the media.
@K▲ISER The alt-right didn't do shit.
@Deleted User Antifa is not an organised group
@Deleted User Nah, I would say majority college kids.
It’s people, be it liberal or far leftist, that through a shared anti-fascism, organise loosely to show up at certain events.
@K▲ISER No evidence that I have seen that proves the majority are.
And maybe so in the US
@yung It’s multiple smaller organized groups with their own chapters for specific cities and whatnot.
The Antifa I see in Italy is pretty serious
@yung That's obvious, antifa is a fucking mess, inside and out.
@Deleted User That is to say it’s ridiculous to make judgements about Antifa when it does not even claim to be or want to be a organization
I honestly don’t see much of a point for ANTIFA in America at least.
From what I hear, antifa is losing hard in italy, seeing as how fascism has been legalized.
@yung But then what is it?
Trump’s definitely not a fascist, so their entire point just collapses.
I don’t know what losing is supposed to mean
There are loads of fascists in the US
As in failing in their goal.
Name some that are in a high governmental position.
‘Muricuh
You got me there.
I mean their goal would be to destroy fascism, which is hard in italy. Forget this notion that fascism is making a “surge” in Italy, it’s been a constantly present movement in Italy
For instance I would see the sense of some anti fascist presence in instances like Charlottesville
As for Italy, I personally don’t see it to be far right enough to call it fascism per se, to me it looks more like NatPop or somewhere around that. I’m no expert on Italian politics, though, call me out if I’m wrong.
@yung That was done pretty well though, charlottesville was a disaster.
@K▲ISER I see somebody has been playing kaiserreich.
**the goy knows shut it down**
**oy vey**
Italy is definitely not fascist
@yung Not wholesomely so, no, but it seems fascism is becoming popular once more, only time will tell of how it ends up.
I’m telling you, fascism has been a lot more popular
in Italy, than now
I’d definitely say there’s likely to be more fascists in high seats of governmental power in Italy.
And I will tell you that communism has been a lot more popular in italy than it is now.
also true
Personally the whole situation with Italy is giving me a Weimar Republic vibe.
It’s not that bad
honestly
