I should do more research before insulting people
Literally who
one time i made a really cool lego airplane when i was 12
I was wrong about communism
Maybe it does work
it was pretty impressive, i gotta say
Yeah
Hell yeah
That's only the volumes that have been published thus far. There are about 49 more. Marx was prolific af.
I mean how else would the USSR modernize so quickly
There literally no other way
Engels deserves credit as well.
engels is hella underrated
and i'm not even really a marxist
Gotta give him props for his contribution. He was very humble and while admittedly not on the same level as Marx, I will say that he's close. They were a deadly duo for sure.
he's responsible for me understanding dialectics
Yeah
Such bravery to stand up to the 1%
>space race
>ussr wins
>America has to shift goalposts
>ussr wins again
>this repeats until America gets to moon
>claims they won space race
looks like we're gonna have to go through the whole routine, boys
*sigh*
@mcstubbs His book "Anti-Duhring" is phenomenal. It's one of my favorite Marxist books.
it's amazing
I actually have a hardbound copy that was produced in the USSR. Mint condition and with a beautiful book ribbon attached.
i'm jealous
literally all of my intellectual books are paperback penguin classics or barnes and noble classics
my godfather has an original spanish inquisitor's manual, which is neat
@mcstubbs I have quite a few penguin paperbacks and some b&n classics. They're great for taking notes in and what not.
Did you embrace the glory of communism after reading Engels?
yeah, my copies of the prince and republic are marked to hell
Penguin is for plebs
but i've always been jealous of really, really nice books
how good is anti-duhring for toilet paper or fire starter? probably not too good for that, right? because they are dry scratchy nasty ass books
i have a couple of nice military history books
or maybe i could use it for food if it doesn't make me sick?
@mcstubbs Yeah, I'm something of a bibliophile. I love a fanciful hardcover. I have a vintage, pocket-sized abridged version of Das Kapital. So sexy.
@BlepTheFartingCat That would be a waste of a brilliant book.
why would it be a waste? it's communist, so it's not brilliant at all
