Would people not have a home to call their own?
private property =/= personal property
Your own house is personal property along with your Xbox and car and shit
find an anarchist
they generally know these things pretty well
I guess I'll do since I used to be an anarchist
ooo
oh cool
well i looked up the definition of personal property
and it said about things that u can move
which doesnt include buildings?
its wikipedia but yeah
Essentially we're after factories and workplacea
hmm
"Personal property includes 'items intended for personal use' (e.g., clothes, homes, and vehicles, and sometimes money). It must be gained in a socially fair manner, and the owner has a distributive right to exclude others."
from the wikipedia article
^
so basically personal property is what you own for your personal use
oh shit
No worries we aren’t gonna steal your toothbrush
thank
ive been looking into anarchism but i might not agree on some/all things
We're opposed to private property because owning a workplace means the owner can do whatever they please with it no matter how disgustingly exploitative it is
Fair enough
[insert a photo of a sweatshop here]
Pretty much
Do you think a large group of people would be able to manage a business?
Personally, I recommend The Ego And It's Own by Stirner as it's a nice intro to anarchism
If you think about anarchism
As long as it's motivated by profit and not the betterment of society then no
its like loads of people all doing one thing
how can you organise that
co-ops have been shown to work pretty efficiently (I’m not expert though)
people work together because it's better for them
in anarchism it's incredibly beneficial to cooperate with others
Good examples of organization of anarchists would include Paris Commune and Free Territory
But it should be noted that the material conditions between both and present times are vastly different
Are anarchists worried about religion?
No
Plus you don’t exactly need to profit from it if there is no currency
