There's definitely an argument to be made for Russia being a threat, but that doesn't mean the USA is not a threat since they hold many places by the ass. If Russia tries something stupid and America intervenes than it's WWII.

Since the USA would drag Nato in and Russia would drag their allies in.

The way the USA will react will cause the war

Well my friend, apart from that 'meme' being biased, it's also completely wrong. The USSR had a history of attacking neutral/weaker nations, i.e. Afghanistan, the USA put those nukes in turkey at the behest of the Turkish government.
