In other words, we need a mix of class consciousness and identity politics.
There, that is my argument.
By the way, worst identity is consumer.
Like those liberals who think consumption can be activism.
While I agree it is important to acknowledge the secondary contradiction of being a black american, the redditor’s emphasis on black and labeling themself as a (person of color) is literally reverse jim crow. the primary contradiction still stands. liberalism is quick and easy bandaids to much bigger problems. that being the contradiction of worker and capitalist. the BPP new this, and although routed themselves as black peoples, they acknowledged that the single most pressing issue is that of class and their relation to the MOP. By putting any issue above class, you’re engaging in liberalism as defined by Mao, and therefor you’re a revisionist who seeks a temporary problem to a solution that effects all. Black people haven’t always been the only poor people and white peoples haven’t. there are poor black and white people all over the world. blacks that own the MOP and don’t. Whites that do and don’t. by saying X group does Y, we are focusing our efforts not on capitalism but instead an issue that is the result of the primary contradiction of capitalism. Also to use idpol is unmaterialist because you’re abandoning the base for the superstructure

You make such a bold claim and then back it up with nothing. How is it reverse jim crow? What does that even mean? You can't put out such a thing and then leave it at that. This feels like an emotional plea more than anything.
> the primary contradiction still stands. liberalism is quick and easy bandaids to much bigger problems.
This is true. This is why I brought up consumerism. Liberalism uses this as a means to get people to feel good fast. Remember the Gillette ads? Those are clearly aimed at liberal feminists to feel like they're doing something more than they really are.
> the BPP new this, and although routed themselves as black peoples, they acknowledged that the single most pressing issue is that of class and their relation to the MOP. By putting any issue above class, you’re engaging in liberalism as defined by Mao
The BPP who felt there was no place in socialism for black people? "The theory did not fit at all with the conditions and aspirations of Blacks. Thousands were moving to the North to get factory jobs, as the sharecropping system was dying out and Blacks were being forced off the land. There was simply no basis—in conditions or in the aspirations of Blacks themselves—for demanding a separate state in the Black Belt." The issue with communism is it focused too heavily on class.

Once again, you're throwing around meaningless terms. I am not revising anything and I did not say blacks *are* poor or whites *are* rich. I said the identities stood for them.
