Training is more important than gear IMO

2019-08-05 17:53:21 UTC

But gear shouldn't limit your training

2019-08-05 17:54:38 UTC

And good boots are almost irreplaceable

2019-08-05 17:54:40 UTC

There is a lot of training that can be done without specific gear

2019-08-05 17:55:00 UTC

Boots are essential

2019-08-05 17:57:31 UTC

Most people i come across have a very basic knowledge of firearms let alone tactics. Most have never been on a dynamic range only shot at indoor gun ranges and in the backyard shooting bottles and paper targets.

2019-08-05 17:58:08 UTC

When i bring them to my range their whole perspective is changed. Everyone says "i really need training" after a day of shooting and moving

2019-08-05 17:58:27 UTC

2019-08-05 17:58:36 UTC

Haha

2019-08-05 17:58:52 UTC

Freeze bitch, its the alphabet boys

2019-08-05 17:59:22 UTC

*plays fortunate son on speakers*

2019-08-05 18:00:01 UTC

Yeah training is capital

2019-08-05 18:00:28 UTC

But when you're using an old shitty vn Alice rig are you really supporting yourself the best

2019-08-05 18:00:31 UTC

Both is ideal

2019-08-05 18:00:42 UTC

Training with logical cheap gear is more important

2019-08-05 18:01:54 UTC

Field check in ng your gear is essential. I have a closet full of crap that seemed cool but didnt work for me in the real world. But train with what you got until you can upgrade

2019-08-05 18:02:02 UTC

Like you dont need a haley chest rig just get a condor AK rig or something and cheap repro pouches

2019-08-05 18:02:28 UTC

It's all gonna fall apart after a couple years of constant use and if you cant repair or make new ones yourself you're fucked anyway

2019-08-05 18:03:39 UTC

Like rocking gear and gats every day people aren't gonna reallize how much they need to know about maintenance

2019-08-05 18:03:46 UTC

i need a good pistol recomendation

2019-08-05 18:04:06 UTC

My advice is, buy quality over quantity. Then add as needed. Try on your buddy's gear and see if it works for you. If all you can afford is alice gear then fine just dont buy it just to buy it. Save your cash for quality when you can get it.

2019-08-05 18:04:21 UTC

Glock 19 or 17 for price/availability cz p10c/p01 omega if you have time and money

2019-08-05 18:04:43 UTC

I still rock an Alice belt for a war belt

2019-08-05 18:04:47 UTC

And just added more padding

2019-08-05 18:04:53 UTC

FBIagent there are a ton of boxes you need to check off before you can answer that

2019-08-05 18:04:58 UTC

All my pouches still attach and dont move too much

2019-08-05 18:05:15 UTC

Like?

2019-08-05 18:05:50 UTC

Legend is right region, ammo availability, magazine availability, parts availability, price, aftermarket mod, reliability, etc

2019-08-05 18:05:55 UTC

What is it for?
What have you shot in the past?

2019-08-05 18:06:31 UTC

Like a Makarov is not a good war pistol

2019-08-05 18:06:36 UTC

I've only ever shot a shitty Beretta M9.

2019-08-05 18:06:42 UTC

i want something to conceal carry

2019-08-05 18:07:00 UTC

Hi point offers good options

2019-08-05 18:07:07 UTC

Kek

2019-08-05 18:07:37 UTC

So you trained on a single action double action, is that what you want to stick to or are you ipen to striker fire piatols such as glocks

2019-08-05 18:08:24 UTC

Yeah how much do you care about safety

2019-08-05 18:08:29 UTC

I don't

2019-08-05 18:08:42 UTC

im open to glocks

2019-08-05 18:08:44 UTC

Imo I dont like safeties

2019-08-05 18:08:45 UTC

I trained on the M9 and 226. I carried an HKUSP for conceal because they are DA/SA but now i carry SIG 320.

2019-08-05 18:09:02 UTC

Then get a glock. Cant go wrong.
