I shoot what is ubiquitous 223/556, 308/762 9mm
Excluding 556 that's really only for ammo availability and accoutrements
I got a 545 ak and a shit tonne of ammo just because of ballistics
But it's mostly just going to be a DA rifle
300 blk is getting popular enough that i also have an upper for my ar to swap between 223 and 300 blk
I thought about getting a 300 blk
I've got 3 uppers for me and hubbies ARs
But honestly getting sites, peqs, mags, ammo, etc
Unless you have a suppressor theres better calibers out there with better ballistics.
It seemed like a hassle
I've got suppressors but just building up a whole new AR
Am I being silly wanting a .308?
Vs using the 223 I've already got and getting a few sets of clothes, 2 pairs of boots, and supplies was more logical imo
No .308 is a good round
Not at all fox
Same ballistics as 30-06 and more common
Good hunting round, decent manstopper?
It's the same as 7.62 nato
I'm looking at the Howa 1500 rn. Not a bad price
Only difference is primer
For full auto fire
Ideally I would rather have a semiautomatic but cest le vi
I'd really suggest a tikka if you can swing it
They're sick as fuck precision rifles
And insanely smooth
And it's a precision rifle you only really need to worry about ammo compatibility not as much mag compatibility
308 has the most ballistic info than just about any other round. It covers more than what you will use it for. Is the softest shooting rounds vs 300 wm or bigger. Better barrel life if shooting often or for competitions. Etc...
Here we go
Yeah but I'm a poor whigga fam.
What's your budget
The armor set I was looking at is literally half my paycheck
Low as fuck rn
I make like 1400 usd a month. Bill's chew up about 1100 of that
If you save for a couple months
*drool*
It's good for precision, recce, and with practice you can clear rooms with it
Has to be NYS legal tho mate
Na fam work with an out of state buddy
