2019-09-15 03:23:17 UTC

2019-09-15 03:23:24 UTC

I loved the chinook

2019-09-15 03:23:33 UTC

So fuckin loud

2019-09-15 03:23:40 UTC

That is tru

2019-09-15 03:23:49 UTC

The super stallion and blackhawk werent nearly as loud

2019-09-15 03:24:04 UTC

I’ve only been in a chinook and c130

2019-09-15 03:24:42 UTC

C130 was the only other mimitary bird ive been on

2019-09-15 03:25:42 UTC

They were pretty cool but the one I rode in was set up for hurricane hunting so there was a bunch of other things in there

2019-09-15 03:25:59 UTC

Ours were always empty

2019-09-15 03:26:53 UTC

I also did the CAP thing. Blackhawks and C130s were the main, aside from the CAP aircraft

2019-09-15 03:27:39 UTC

I’ve never been in a Blackhawk

2019-09-15 03:28:11 UTC

They're fun

2019-09-15 03:30:08 UTC

My JROTC instructor was a helo pilot for a long time in the army and flew missions in Iraq Afghanistan and Kosovo

2019-09-15 03:30:50 UTC

He once ran a heard of cattle off a cliff in Ireland while escorting the president

2019-09-15 03:31:31 UTC

Hehehe

2019-09-15 03:32:32 UTC

He’s a Lt Col and his dad was a Col which is pretty cool

2019-09-15 03:33:34 UTC

I think it’s funny in my JROTC battalion I’m Headquarters Company CO so I have all the responsibility and blame but no authority

2019-09-15 03:33:42 UTC

Makes sense

2019-09-15 03:35:02 UTC

Yep. I always got the short end of the Stick being First Seargeant in the squadron. Luckily I was also the group commanders favorite and liason work with him to Wing and stuff. The XO also happened to be one of my professors lol

2019-09-15 03:36:31 UTC

I used to be in CAP but couldn’t handle all their politics just cause my parents weren’t military I was some how lower on the chain in treatment wise

2019-09-15 03:37:21 UTC

And the new kids got all the special treatment to get him to stay in I worked much harder than all the others who joined at the same time and got over looked

2019-09-15 03:37:54 UTC

It was actual AIDS

2019-09-15 03:38:50 UTC

I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends tbh it was pretty fun but I just wasn’t gonna be a brown noser just to get things done

2019-09-15 03:39:46 UTC

I feel that. I was a try hard the first year, but after that I turned shitbag. But a shitbag that got results. Hence the First Sergeant and Lead rifle for color guard

2019-09-15 03:41:09 UTC

I see I also stopped cause I had football and army jrotc I was also committed to
