I got to shoot somone in the face with simunitions on burst lmao
Noice
I dont miss chinooks
I loved the chinook
So fuckin loud
That is tru
The super stallion and blackhawk werent nearly as loud
I’ve only been in a chinook and c130
C130 was the only other mimitary bird ive been on
They were pretty cool but the one I rode in was set up for hurricane hunting so there was a bunch of other things in there
Ours were always empty
I also did the CAP thing. Blackhawks and C130s were the main, aside from the CAP aircraft
I’ve never been in a Blackhawk
They're fun
My JROTC instructor was a helo pilot for a long time in the army and flew missions in Iraq Afghanistan and Kosovo
He once ran a heard of cattle off a cliff in Ireland while escorting the president
Hehehe
He’s a Lt Col and his dad was a Col which is pretty cool
I think it’s funny in my JROTC battalion I’m Headquarters Company CO so I have all the responsibility and blame but no authority
Makes sense
Yep. I always got the short end of the Stick being First Seargeant in the squadron. Luckily I was also the group commanders favorite and liason work with him to Wing and stuff. The XO also happened to be one of my professors lol
I used to be in CAP but couldn’t handle all their politics just cause my parents weren’t military I was some how lower on the chain in treatment wise
And the new kids got all the special treatment to get him to stay in I worked much harder than all the others who joined at the same time and got over looked
It was actual AIDS
I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends tbh it was pretty fun but I just wasn’t gonna be a brown noser just to get things done
I feel that. I was a try hard the first year, but after that I turned shitbag. But a shitbag that got results. Hence the First Sergeant and Lead rifle for color guard
I see I also stopped cause I had football and army jrotc I was also committed to
College is what finally got me
How so
I don’t think I’m going to college
Tbh
I’m either going to tech school to get EMT and Firefighter quals or military
I didn't have the free time to dedicate to CAP so I focused on school
I don’t have free time either cause I mean football is pretty much 11 months of my year
Not everyone needs college, learn a skill set that's useful and something that you'll enjoy
^
I only did it to satisfy career requirements. But yeah, most people would do way better in a trade or technical field. Also has the side benefit of getting away from the sjw commie indoctrination machine
I went to college, waste of time so far. Debating if I want to go back.
