@thedarkness05 what program?
^ i don't speak nickel sounds
@SOG JAMESON NYs Citizen Preparedness corps. Governor Homo basically said "look you unprepared shits, you're costing us way too much tax money that could be better spent on me. So do that prepper thing so when the next inevitable disaster strikes, it won't cost us as much"
Ouch
I live near Seattle so I know the mentality
^ used to be on Whidbey
I do have to say though the info is pretty solid for beginners. I didn't learn anything that I haven't already done for the last decade or so. But at least my family wont think Im as nuts "cause tha gubment said to"
@thedarkness05 speaking of having a shitty governor. Did you see what tbe FBI said about reporting people for possible threats?
Not recently? I might have but why don't you run it by me so Im up to speed
Long story short "we take all threats very seriously, but most calls are a waste of resources."
If that doesn't tell someone all you need to know then nothing will.
Oh yeah, I doubt the FBI really does all that much. In fact I think they need to be scaled back a bit to only assisting local departments in investigations that meet certain criteria, as well as keeping those criminal databases. Id also like it if they didnt use a bumch of resourses helping out the international community
^
Fuck dude a us.marshal is better suited for the role of the FBI, lets be real
Too many agencies that all essentially do the same shit
I agree. A lot of the agencies could be consolidated without loss of function or efficiency. In fact it probably get more efficient
^^ exactly but hey it's the gooberment and you're making too much sense
Facts. And while we're at a fantasy government wishlist, lets get rid of the use it or lose budgets
*muffled screaming of dumbassery*
On both accounts
So the debt system that became the norm in modern civilization is completely fuckey
Pretty much. Things have spiraled wildly out of control. No wonder idiocricy is becoming a documentary
Bruh moment
Fed moment
But nah, I wish I could remember the guys name, anyway he was an economist that believed banks shouldn't be private and that they shouldn't be able to loan out money
In essence he believed that wealth wasn't monetary gain, it was the shit you had.
Products, land, houses etc etc
Thats an interesting way to go about it. Your wealth is determined only by real property, not fiat stand ins
^^
And instead of debt, there was a social credit system
(Btw this guy was a staunch anticommunist)
Id have to give it a bit of thought, but its an intresting way of doing things. Especially with thr anti commie amgle
Thats quite fucking interesting there
Anyway, social credit system basically eliminates debt by liquidating all assets of a failing business by turning it into something that produces different products that are needed or useful
Clifford hue Douglas social credit
I'll look at it the next chance I get. I figured a private entity stepping in to change a busisness to be more productive might work better than a government doing something like bailouts. Free markets and all that
I'm tracking but essiantly it was meant to put money back into the pocket of the workers so that they could afford what they're making
That being said, I'm more right leaning when it comes to the industrial complex of a nation
