2019-09-22 21:38:12 UTC

I would rather live in a society where the risk you speak of doesn't mean risking ending up on the streets like it does for for many people

2019-09-22 21:38:23 UTC

Alrighty then

2019-09-22 21:38:23 UTC

how else would the risk manifest?

2019-09-22 21:38:28 UTC

Im going mining

2019-09-22 21:38:33 UTC

if you have nothing else to put on the line?

2019-09-22 21:38:40 UTC

@Sir Harndes Deeprock Galactic?

2019-09-22 21:38:42 UTC

Tag me if y'all need hentai shit

2019-09-22 21:38:46 UTC

Yeah

2019-09-22 21:38:52 UTC

yeet, have fun. Love that game

2019-09-22 21:39:32 UTC

@AKAlexei nah, I follow. But why do they need college is my question? Is that the way to their career? Than fine, go military to pay that debt. Or are they doing it because of societal pressure to get an associates at the minimum? A HS degree meant you could go far, and was valid. Now you're looked down upin for not going to higher learning

2019-09-22 21:40:10 UTC

@Sir Harndes always my dude. And you can pm me some really weird shit. I dont judge

2019-09-22 21:41:09 UTC

Service guarantees citizenship. That's exactly what I've been saying. Merc hit the nail on the head. And you know what? It might be an interesting plot element for a book and a shitty film adaptation, but in reality? It's a garbage system

2019-09-22 21:41:39 UTC

I get the military industrial complex always needa meat for the grinder. So why wouldnt they have a hand in raising the price of college to coerce some fresh recruits?

2019-09-22 21:41:50 UTC

^

2019-09-22 21:41:57 UTC

Ok, but I really do love starship troopers

2019-09-22 21:42:05 UTC

damn okay now we getting into some deep shit. But why is that Capitalism's fault rather than the fed?

2019-09-22 21:42:23 UTC

Because the corporations are the ones causing it

2019-09-22 21:42:42 UTC

but you just said the military was doing it to get more soldiers

2019-09-22 21:42:43 UTC

If not the government being their tool, they'll use something else to do so

2019-09-22 21:42:49 UTC

ah

2019-09-22 21:42:50 UTC

wait

2019-09-22 21:42:53 UTC

so it's the state's fault?

2019-09-22 21:42:56 UTC

The military is just the place the kids go

2019-09-22 21:42:58 UTC

Ok, MIC. We got that. So reduce governments and reduce corprotism, without hurting tje free market

2019-09-22 21:43:13 UTC

No, it's the corporations and the businesses and the colleges themselves

2019-09-22 21:43:38 UTC

The state is just one of numerous different tools that is used to manipulate the system

2019-09-22 21:43:42 UTC

screw colleges themselves

2019-09-22 21:43:52 UTC

couldn't you say exactly the same thing, the other way around?

2019-09-22 21:43:55 UTC

You're talking in circles my dude. Take a minute for me and run trough the blame game so we can hammer out a solution

2019-09-22 21:44:00 UTC

I'd love to take that attitude but I'm destitute and can't afford that

2019-09-22 21:44:03 UTC

aren't corporations just the tools that the government uses to manipulate us?

2019-09-22 21:44:21 UTC

No, the corporations are the ones at fault here

2019-09-22 21:44:28 UTC

there's no way we're gonna hammer out a solution lol

2019-09-22 21:44:30 UTC

this is just for fun

2019-09-22 21:44:37 UTC

Because the state has existed long before corporations. The way I see it its a mutual benificial relationship.

2019-09-22 21:44:48 UTC

and harmful, for that matter

2019-09-22 21:45:00 UTC

Well yeah, at least for us peasants
