Depends on the site you work this is a pretty quiet easy-going site which means the hours get long and if specially if you're on shift and get a call out at the last second and have to pull a double shift or in my case have to sit here for 24 hours at a time every so often

I usually pull the graveyard, and end up walking 10-15 miles a shift doing patrols

Walking I can do here we're supposed to or were before it got shitcan supposed to do two patrols of shift it would only take about 45 minutes to walk the whole facility not too bad

But yeah what kind of site do you work? Must be pretty active for you to be logging in that many miles

Top tier university. Its like a small city, we help out campus PD by securing the dorms. I also work for about 5 companies so yeah

Jesus that's pretty intense I've worked a couple of times covering events at Virginia Tech the money is good but s*** gets wild up there

I mostly deal with asian and middle eastern foreigners. Its not too bad normally, and uni PD deals with the real fucked up stuff, so I'm good. I get paid a stupid ammount to walk in circles and pull on doors lmao

Like one of the guard booths I work at for a gated community has me loggin $16/hr. I'm pretty sure hr fucked up and threw me a payment for a higher site. But I aint saying nothing
