Surprisingly safe

2019-12-27 06:01:41 UTC

But terrifying

2019-12-27 06:01:44 UTC

Dude it was part of the delivery costs. You make the money back on the truck most contractors don't own a flatbed.

2019-12-27 06:01:47 UTC

OSHA man, take me by the hand lead me to your land, that we don't understand

2019-12-27 06:01:50 UTC

Average brazillian shower

2019-12-27 06:02:30 UTC

However

2019-12-27 06:02:31 UTC

Its a brazillian electric shower

2019-12-27 06:02:34 UTC

The average one

2019-12-27 06:02:50 UTC

Electric shower? man that sounds safe

2019-12-27 06:03:09 UTC

@dizzy its surprisingly safe if its properly installed.

2019-12-27 06:03:13 UTC

If you were to suggest "Brazilian shower" in other terms, I would be very interested

2019-12-27 06:03:15 UTC

In a proper installati n

2019-12-27 06:04:00 UTC

There was one roof of a warehouse they loaded on the wrong side so they brought in 4-wheelers with trailers to transport the materials across the roof. One guy drove off the roof and 30 feet down to the parking lot. We never saw him again.

2019-12-27 06:04:05 UTC

Basically the water goes through bare heating elements to get heated, then passes through the bare ground wire to remove excess voltage before it fomes out.

2019-12-27 06:04:08 UTC

Like when I have to climb on a table to clamber onto the back of a cabinet to get to a data switch in a car wash of a auto dealer.

2019-12-27 06:04:28 UTC

@Timeward That sounds absolutely terrifying

2019-12-27 06:04:36 UTC

Oh it absolutely is.

2019-12-27 06:04:50 UTC

I'd rather take a cold shower

2019-12-27 06:04:54 UTC

If its not a proper installation or there's something wrong you can feel it. @Troye

2019-12-27 06:05:02 UTC

Because the thing was on the fritz.. probably because it was high up.. in a carwash..

2019-12-27 06:05:10 UTC

But if its done right then you'll never feel it.

2019-12-27 06:05:10 UTC

mmm yes tingly zap showers

2019-12-27 06:05:19 UTC

Than risk having my heart electrocuted every time I want to get wet

2019-12-27 06:05:37 UTC

Eh, certainly *stimulating*.

2019-12-27 06:05:40 UTC

It is very safe, as long as its installed very correctly.

2019-12-27 06:05:41 UTC

@Torvarren f for that guy goddamn

2019-12-27 06:05:53 UTC

I can tell something is wrong with my mom's shower.

2019-12-27 06:05:54 UTC

"If it's done right you'll never feel it."

2019-12-27 06:06:02 UTC

Wait. You have a separate water heater for your shower? Like how does hot water work in the rest of the house???

2019-12-27 06:06:10 UTC

@Jym it doesnt.

2019-12-27 06:06:16 UTC

Oof.

2019-12-27 06:06:18 UTC

We dont have central water heating.

2019-12-27 06:06:26 UTC

Definitely not something I want to hear around strong electricity and water

2019-12-27 06:06:31 UTC

Thats why we use electric showers.

2019-12-27 06:06:36 UTC

How do you do dishes?

2019-12-27 06:06:45 UTC

With room temp water
