They do inform each other, yes.. but the actors are only able to perform what is written and/or permitted by the director. Personally, it's the interplay that I'm interested in & the world that's built there.
That's a matter of differing tastes, however.
“Specific”, sure. Your points clear as mud.
And the "MOST" important is a contextual qualification since alot of different aspects of film making are very important, so it's sort of arbitrary to pick one as the "most" important
I'm just making a point of principle
While accepting the importance of writing as being atleast a close second and MAYBE more important than acting
Does that clear it up for you fucking niggroids?
Hence the lack of context in your autistic screeching responses. Perhaps cite some examples and ground your vague bullshit in evidence and we’ll entertain your tantrums.
@Mersenne You're the one who started attacking me when I didn't even have a proper position
So, for me, the themes are a big deal. If you want to focus on the acting quality- it's your prerogative, but I disagree on the initial pretense.
That said, backing up to speak of writing is fair. E'en then it seems a bit skin deep to me, yet still it is your prerogative to focus on it.
Instead of asking for clarification
Retard
Precisely. I’m attacking you for failing to take a position. Driver a point on film instead of winging like a newborn babe.
Here comes the caps lock
Preemtive attacks are retarded since you're basically hitting smoke
what you should do is ask for clarification
Then you start attacking when there is actually something too attack
nonce
Pointless conflict
And, as you said more to the point, all and all having a specific element as *most* important is small minded as you - yourself- observed. I'll settle for that. @Win Roe
Nice spelling, you’re doing great
My fingers aren't so good
More like witnessing someone in the special olympics attempt to play a real sport.
I think that writing is more impactful than acting, generally; Whereas sort of middling writing can be redeemed by rock-solid acting, even god-like acting turns into shit if the writing is shit.
So back to shitposting on 4chan, 9gag, or whatever playground you wandered from.
I'd use the scenes with Michael Fassbender from alien covenant as an example of great acting saving a shit film, tho there isn't enough of him on screen and too much dumb shit to actually save that film, at least his scenes are almost completely intact in terms of quality @𝕯𝖊𝖗_𝕶𝖔𝖒𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖘𝖆𝖗
@Mersenne You're dunning kurger the nigger brain stop trying to gate keep when you're the smallest mind in the pool
I don't remember if I've seen that one so I'll have to take your word for it; But, I think that there are probably more examples of bad writing breaking a film than there is good acting saving one. Might be a matter of personal perception at the end of the day, though; Even objectively shitty movies can be pretty fun.
Just youtube his scenes
like I said the film as a whole is garbage but he is such a great actor that his scenes are worth it
thats basically how i feel about DR who, past present and possibly future.
doctor who has some good moments but I've never enjoyed a full episode
also anyone who hasnt watched misfits... fucking watch it
Don't know, I hope it is
Doctor Who has great episodes. Doctor Who also has abysmal episodes.
