2019-12-15 10:45:11 UTC

see that's being a nigger

2019-12-15 10:45:19 UTC

you're a tool

2019-12-15 10:45:49 UTC

He ordered it, makes sense

2019-12-15 10:45:58 UTC

Dude by that reasoning no leader should be Times Person of the Year because they sign papers

2019-12-15 10:46:11 UTC

the kind of derp minded people these types of awards attract.

2019-12-15 10:46:17 UTC

So there goes 2 thirds of the list

2019-12-15 10:46:34 UTC

i think that's his point

2019-12-15 10:47:28 UTC

The year is 2032 Anita Sarkissian has received her 2nd Time person of the year, white men have been eradicated and Adolf Hitler has been retconned into being a homosexual female queer person of color

he's was merely doing exactly as advised, barely any president or politician does things independently, that's their job to take considerations before making official orders, essentially puppets that are disguised as leaders. I like the scientist and entrepreneur one's, those make more sense.

2019-12-15 10:48:53 UTC

obama: the *anti* **christ**

2019-12-15 10:49:04 UTC

plastic scientist, as pointed out- should have also been considered well before Greta

2019-12-15 10:49:08 UTC

1946- James Byrnes American Secretary of State who managed to pressure the Soviet Union into withdrawing its troops from Iran and also presided over American efforts to rebuild Germany, makes sense

2019-12-15 10:51:03 UTC

1947- George Marshall again newly appointed US Secretary of State who initiated the Marshall Plan, through which US foreign aid was given to European nations to rebuild after WW2, makes sense

2019-12-15 10:51:18 UTC

These are all pretty good persons of the year tbh

2019-12-15 10:51:19 UTC

The role of president is pretty funny. Pretend outwardly that you're a "great leader" to get people to vote for you. But once in office, you basically follow the orders of your advisors.

2019-12-15 10:52:38 UTC

1948- Harry Truman again US President who had just been reelected in 48 in one of the biggest election shocks in American history, makes sense

2019-12-15 10:53:23 UTC

Leaders can do more then you'd think Thatcher apparently only used to sleep 4 hours a night doubt she was just sitting around all day

2019-12-15 10:54:19 UTC

1949- Winston Churchill again Now this pick I don't really understand, Churchill was leader of the opposition in 49, he didn't have that much influence over British politics, let alone world politics

2019-12-15 10:54:33 UTC

I think Sun Tzu said something about not taking advice from scouts

2019-12-15 10:54:58 UTC

You need the information but only you have the bigger picture

2019-12-15 10:55:28 UTC

All of it "makes sense" if you have a loose definition on what constitutes human achievement, it's an argument of subjectiveness. In this regard, Greta is just as reasonable as any candidate , even the scientists doing actual footwork to solve plastic waste issues and other climate issues.

2019-12-15 10:55:48 UTC

I don't really know British political history, I guess Churchill must have done smth that year

2019-12-15 10:56:11 UTC

Greta has only just started her campaign and its not like she is touting how she has gotten 500 million dollars in funding for big projects or something

2019-12-15 10:56:19 UTC

What year did he dismantle the british empire

2019-12-15 10:56:50 UTC

Would time happen to be British by any chance?

2019-12-15 10:56:59 UTC

That might be the connection you are looking for

2019-12-15 10:57:06 UTC

1950- "The American Fighting-Man" US soldiers fighting in the Korean War, sorta makes I guess

2019-12-15 10:57:12 UTC

Yes Times is British

2019-12-15 10:57:12 UTC

Time is New York, pretty sure

2019-12-15 10:57:22 UTC

that explains it

2019-12-15 10:57:23 UTC

2019-12-15 10:57:27 UTC

2019-12-15 10:57:35 UTC

2019-12-15 10:58:01 UTC

"Time is an American weekly news magazine and news website published in New York City. It was founded in 1923 and for many years it was run by its influential co-founder Henry Luce. A European edition is published in London and also covers the Middle East, Africa, and, since 2003, Latin America."

2019-12-15 10:58:03 UTC

2019-12-15 10:58:29 UTC
