Hitler's only real mistake was the belief that big tanks will win the war

However Germans learn quickly from their mistakes

German designs were good, but there is nothing magical about them

The biggest advantage they had was that their arms manufacturer agreed to share patents and use them all on 1 weapon system

Which is why the mg34 and 42 were godtier

The gas blowback design for stg44 was also real good

German tanks are good on the inside, but the outside of the early tanks is lacking pretty hard

Mostly because of the lack of sloped armor
