@everyone Daily Question 🔖
- What is the ideal economic theory? How would you design your perfect economy?
not fucking communism
A.I Planned Economy
bet
nukes
Barter system >>>>>>>>>>>>
Ah yes what an excellent way to grow the ecoonomy @Mew
indeed
@Oboe That wont produce anything on a national level
nuke the state
boom
no economy problems
Yea necause there is no economy
and no country to have one
yes
great solution
>That wont produce anything on a national level
That's because things will all be done on a tribal level
@Oboe Which is why its a dumb system
t. industrialist
As much as i would want that
It's just not possible
Why not?
Describe how it *is* possible
Essentially a feudal medieval system
Assuming a collapse of any kind is possible, with the right conditions we could force anything even it's for a short time.
>short time
So it's not lasting
What is?
No system lasts forever
and what will follow would only be a step up from bartering
It'd be better than what we have for quite a while
Ek se
@Deleted User I don't mind some social safety nets, but my ideal economic system is something that involves removing all taxes aside from those on consumption, removes all regulations on hiring/firing/wages and some regulations in other areas as well. I'm not an Anarcho Capitalistic "free market fixes everything" zealot, but I do think we tax too much and too inefficiently, regulate too much, and need to put less barriers from effectively participation in the capitalist system
I don't really subscribe to the idea that the socialism part of NatSoc Germany lead to it being a lasting economic powerhouse. They would have collapsed if they didn't go to war
I disagree there
I would propose an A.I Planned Economy
Corporatism, not gonna lie. A mix between socialism and capitalism would be a good thing because each have their ups and downs and you could end up having all of the good parts. Safety nets but people also don't get EVERYTHING for free? Count me in
I meant the last part btw, as in some parts should have public and private sectors, such as healthcare. @Deleted User
Though I'm completely up for being educated further on the topic of economics. It's not my strong suit, to be completely honest
