@everyone Daily Question ๐Ÿ”–

-Is the line between entertainment and information too blurred in modern culture? What do you think about the media and entertainment industries?

2019-07-08 00:47:08 UTC

There is no information anymore, just entertainment.

2019-07-08 00:47:13 UTC

why do you think so

2019-07-08 00:47:50 UTC

Comedians are the new reporters and investigative journalism is a thing of the past.

2019-07-08 00:48:10 UTC

Comedy and information shouldn't merge

2019-07-08 00:48:24 UTC

Have state run news

2019-07-08 00:48:24 UTC

well it will be too boring for the modern person

2019-07-08 00:48:27 UTC

No comedy

2019-07-08 00:48:30 UTC

with a short attention span

2019-07-08 00:49:24 UTC

A short attention span is the result of this blending of comedy and information, the punchline is all that the modern person waits for nowadays.

2019-07-08 00:49:27 UTC

just answer the question fgt

2019-07-08 00:49:28 UTC

Hahaha

2019-07-08 00:49:31 UTC

and talk about it

2019-07-08 01:08:50 UTC

Ok bud, you want an answer here it is.

It is a sad reflection on our society that we have allowed velvet gloved aristocrats to dictate the content that appears on the platforms of such import as to be compared to the invention of the printing press all because of the ruthlessness and guile of the businesses such as google and the rest of the MSM that had allowed themselves to stave off any sort of competition thus far.
Now these once nuanced companies have begun to wage an all out war against any sort of opinion that dissents from the Jewish Marxist philosophy of the breaking down of society through the destruction of the old morality and itโ€™s replacement with new morals.
In addition to this disgusting suppression of dissent, these corporations are attempting to sedate the masses as a doctor sedates a horse with the intermixing of entertainment into the political realm. Furthermore we can see the opposite on the side of entertainment wherein politics are injected into most every scene of every show.
I can only assume that eventually these two worlds will eventually be conjoined permanently and completely in a worrying combination that will be little more than propaganda films.

Now may we discuss the fact that your question is not of your design but rather just a copy paste of a political compass question with a few words added here and there.

2019-07-08 01:10:01 UTC

its an interesting question anyway

2019-07-08 01:43:38 UTC

hmmmmmmm

2019-07-08 02:17:14 UTC

May I second that?

2019-07-08 03:11:03 UTC

Have a Government funded, but independent, national news company.

2019-07-08 03:11:14 UTC

Then have it be the only news station.

2019-07-08 03:11:36 UTC

Like the CBC but if it was the only company allowed.

2019-07-08 03:12:13 UTC

CBC=Canadian Broadcasting (Corporation or Company)

2019-07-08 03:12:24 UTC

Most reliable news in the country.

2019-07-08 12:09:15 UTC

the government should own the news and media in general

2019-07-08 12:09:53 UTC

cringe

2019-07-08 18:45:23 UTC

Sounds like a potential Orwellian nightmare if just the state runs the media.

2019-07-08 18:46:32 UTC

I think the state has an obligation to promote truth and show the evils of the world but they need to give context lest we lose ourselves in a mire of disinformation.

2019-07-08 18:47:36 UTC

>orwell
>nightmare

2019-07-08 18:47:43 UTC

are you a right winger or something

2019-07-08 18:47:49 UTC

because bro you just posted cringe

2019-07-08 18:48:46 UTC

just look to anti-vaxxers on facebook for evidence when one claim goes too far. I think the state should fund research, publish the findings unbiased from their opinion and show these idiots there is no risk for what they are claiming. This is just one example but there are many out there.

2019-07-08 18:50:25 UTC

@Deleted User you want proof? go look at the USSR's control over information.

2019-07-08 18:50:43 UTC
