death for any crime

2019-08-12 21:53:09 UTC

@Maksim gulags

2019-08-12 21:55:50 UTC

Depends on the crime. Sex crimes are automatic execution for one thing

2019-08-12 22:02:48 UTC

capital punishment is a meme, since all legal systems will always false prosecute.

2019-08-12 23:03:58 UTC

Ok libtard

2019-08-13 00:01:58 UTC

Work+indoctrination camps for common crime and political crap, death by hanging for treason/murder/public intoxication or immoral behavior.
Work camps provide labor to the State while teaching the people the error of their ways and the path to enlightenment through political indoctrination. People who aren't able to redeem themselves should be dealt with by the State, no point to feed them at that point. Especially for acting against the ideology in public. That would be for any sentence bringing someone past working age.

Hard to answer without going into the Judicial system and laws, but I'll sparknotes it.

Minor offenses, including but not limited to petty theft, are forced to participate in community service. More serious but still minor offences will partake in chain gains doing harsher labor. The more serious the crime, the harder the labor. This has the added bonus of teaching convicts basic construction skills allowing them to find work after they leave prison.
Sex offenders will become Human Guinea pigs for experiments. How far the experiment pushes the "moral" limits will depend on the severity of the offence, for example peewee herman would be subjected to minor psychological tests while Molesters will be available for vivisection.
Murderers and Violent offenders will be interviewed and studied for psychological tests, questioned on how they evaded capture/authorities. Then quietly executed as to prevent glorification of their acts.

Bankers and Conmen who have taken advantage of citizens will be forced to see their assets liquidated and distributed to their victims while imprisoned. The amount liquidated will be equal to the amount taken. This will ensure that they experience the same financial hardships they forced upon their victims.

@Notso Killing people for immoral acts needs to be clarified. Death for public intoxication is a bit too steep as it does not address the underlying issue of substance abuse. If a citizen is abusing a substance, there must be something wrong with society and are using that substance to cope.

2019-08-13 00:58:00 UTC

Don't get me wrong, I don't drink alcohol at all since staying alert is a far better alternative than being numb to the world, it just seems a bit too harsh.

2019-08-13 01:56:15 UTC

LOL

2019-08-13 01:56:21 UTC

this guy is so cringe

2019-08-13 01:56:38 UTC

"i-if u do something that is outside of my comfort zone you should be killed <:upsetti:557306048520650772>"

2019-08-13 01:56:44 UTC

what a sperg

2019-08-13 01:57:28 UTC

I think we should focus more on rehab

2019-08-13 01:57:59 UTC

Rehab/reeducation for minor crimes and offenses. Second offense minor crimes get forced labor starting at 4 years. Major crimes such as murder, robbery, etc get forced labor for an appropriate amount of years depending on the crime, starting at 7 years. Crimes such as molestation and rape get shot.

2019-08-13 01:58:45 UTC

The goal of prison should be to help them function in society

2019-08-13 01:59:11 UTC

We should do everything we can to help them

2019-08-13 01:59:21 UTC

and I don't think locking them away in harsh conditions is going to do anything

2019-08-13 01:59:42 UTC

according to the APA, it actually makes it worse!

2019-08-13 01:59:58 UTC

If you are lower risk then yes. If you murder people or rape, then you're a much higher risk to society.

2019-08-13 01:59:59 UTC

then again the APA is libtarded, because when science disproves your views its automatically a libtard

2019-08-13 02:00:02 UTC

oh yea

2019-08-13 02:00:02 UTC

true

2019-08-13 02:00:06 UTC

but like

2019-08-13 02:00:12 UTC

maybe a balance

2019-08-13 02:00:17 UTC

we keep them away from society for a long time

2019-08-13 02:00:24 UTC

but while we keep them away

2019-08-13 02:00:28 UTC

we try to correct the behavior

2019-08-13 02:00:41 UTC

anger management, psychological evaluations, ect

2019-08-13 02:02:47 UTC

The social repurcussions to serious crimes as well as being on their record would destroy the rest of their life.

2019-08-13 02:03:02 UTC

and this is a problem

2019-08-13 02:03:15 UTC

If a drug dealer gets out of prison, thats going to stick with him for the rest of his life

2019-08-13 02:03:20 UTC

people will dislike him

2019-08-13 02:03:24 UTC

he will have troublel getting a job

2019-08-13 02:03:29 UTC

so what is he going to do for money?

2019-08-13 02:03:30 UTC

sell drugs

2019-08-13 02:03:35 UTC

its a dangerous cycle

2019-08-13 02:05:16 UTC

If needs were met they wouldn't need to sell drugs in the first place.

2019-08-13 02:06:29 UTC

Government provides for the general needs of the nation.

2019-08-13 02:20:36 UTC

I don’t say lock them up in harsh conditions
