as long as they have the same rights as us, I'm fine with it

2019-08-31 21:58:08 UTC

I mean thats the thing they do, they have had for the past 100 years or so depending on the region

2019-08-31 21:58:12 UTC

You cannot "unlearn" homosexuality

2019-08-31 21:58:22 UTC

according to the study it isnt someething set in stone

2019-08-31 21:58:53 UTC

there are really only 2 options normalization of a mental illness, or genetic defect, here we see its not genetic, hence we are looking at a psychological motivation

2019-08-31 22:00:49 UTC

The only time homosexuals didnt have equal human rights was... well really its hard to tell. being equal in society demands a capacity to be discriminated against, otherwise you are simply king of that society

2019-08-31 22:01:53 UTC

What?

2019-08-31 22:02:14 UTC

I am quite sure homosexuals still don't have human rights in many countries

2019-08-31 22:02:27 UTC

and they have historically not had the same rights in european countries

2019-08-31 22:07:34 UTC

@Bogatyr Bogumir its not a mental illness according to WHO, the APA, and the AMA

2019-08-31 22:08:22 UTC

so please demonstrate how they are wrong

2019-08-31 22:09:21 UTC

clearly you know more about human psychology than the people at the American Psychological Association

2019-09-01 07:55:29 UTC

@Riley The APA also claims that gay couples are better at raising kids than hetero ouples, literally better at everything so I dont really hold them high in any regard when it comes to psychology, much like the ameican heart association which claims veganism is goo and cholesterol is bad, which is beyond scientifically unfounded.

The APA is a political, not scientific body, and multiple psychologists have taken issue wiht their research, but gotten SPLC'd and gotten dismissed and sometimes fired. Their reasons for not qualifying it as a mentall illness were beyond retarded and also largely based on it being inborn and genetic, which we now know is not.

Additionally there is a large amount of evidence to point towards it being a mentall illness, multiple partners, risk taking behaviour, extreme sexual acts, and a plethora of other relatede mentall illnesses. The far higher amount of mental illness in the LGBT community, and LGBT people in general, is an indicator that its not a healthy or warranted lifestyle either psychologically or physically. (Hell look at STD rates, pedophilia rates, etc. STD's in aprticular being related to multiple partners, lesbians having more domestic violence than hetero couples, while gays (and lesbians to some degree) having far more partners than normal)

2019-09-01 07:57:18 UTC

@Sven Brender Such as what rights tho? bodily integrity might be the only one violated in europe And in other countries. That really is the only right that is most ever violated for LGBT people by virtue of them being LGBT.

2019-09-01 13:14:55 UTC

Do I really need to go over this again?

2019-09-01 13:15:08 UTC

Havent I already explained the criteria for mental illness with you?

2019-09-01 14:23:29 UTC

Let's just have all sensible people agree that homosexuality is not a mental illness

2019-09-01 14:23:51 UTC

Thinking it is is ~~gay~~ idiotic

2019-09-01 16:34:17 UTC

libertarians out here being gay

2019-09-01 17:05:18 UTC

Me and a few others have drafted a political party manifesto, What do you think so far?

ENVIRONMENT:
ban the use of unnecessary plastics in theatres and cinemas
create more dog waste bins and higher the fine for offenders
higher the budget for renewable energy research and quantity while utilizing nuclear energy
use waste from hospitals, stores and community centres to create eco-bricks that can be used in schools
set targets for renewable energy usage beyond that of electricity generation
rapidly remove fossil fuel subsidies

EDUCATION:
abolish paid for school meals in primary schools
make sure tuition fees align with the jobs and opportunities that courses have over others and set a realistic price from there
allow people over the age of eighteen/twenty one to re-enroll into education
introduce an anonymous system where students and parents can voice concerns with the school system, mental health, bullying, punishments, etc
make school tests anonymous
work with public officials and school teachers to provide secondary schools with more freedom by introducing and revamping school curriculum to teach students in say business classes about taxes and inflation, etc
introduce a new system where students pick "courses" at the start of the term to learn about during that term. For example in business studies one course could be a group project where students must work together to make sure their business survives a list of random scenarios like say a stock market crash and another could be about inflation and taxes
introduce lessons like carpentry, journalism, etc

TRANSPORT:
introduce inner city fuel tax to improve public transport to make it more reliable
re-nationalize train companies and lines but keep catering, advertising, etc privatised
ban the imports of wild animal trophies into the UK

2019-09-01 17:06:20 UTC

HEALTHCARE:
fund air ambulances through the public sector
incentives flexible services in NHSs and GPs for those who turn up early
increase national insurance contributions marginally, use the extra money to fund care for the elderly. Use the spare money to fund mental health services, extra beds in hospitals, etc
decrease hospital paperwork to an absolute minimum
abandon the use of insurance companies in hospitals

BUSINESS:
incentives companies to let employees work from home
make education and elderly care tax deductible
direct control of VAT rates and categories
abolish VAT on sanitary products
make tree planting deductible
abolish the bedroom tax
tax businesses that utilize fracking, etc higher amounts than those that don't

SOCIAL:
put Antifa on the list of terrorist organizations
re-nationalise water and energy services
establish Jerusalem as the British national anthem
push for a law in the UN to make Google's search index public
make St. George's Day, St. David's Day, St. Patrick's Day and St. Andrew's Day national holidays in Wales
form a government funded program similar to Ofsted that reviews animal protection services
improve housing choice for elderly and disabled people
build 85,000-95,000 zero carbon households every year
push for proportional representation vote, scrapping first past the post
extend the voting age and jury duty age to seventeen
abolish the porn ban and article 13/17 if they are ever made law
set a limit to how much money MPs can take out of public expenses

2019-09-01 17:06:51 UTC

DEFENSE:
create weapons and parts for the army in Britain
increase funding for technological warfare

IMMIGRATION:
abolish the law that prevents immigrants from working until they acquire citizenship

WORKFORCE:
introduce a workers act where the homeless, unemployed, immigrants and people who have committed petty crimes, work for the government by planting trees, painting cool roofs, etc for money, hospitality, citizenship, etc
abolish age related wage bands
increase minimum wage to £9 an hour

SECURITY:
reform the selling of personal information so that companies must ask individuals for certain information
radically decrease the amount of facial recognition cameras in operation

2019-09-01 17:16:21 UTC

That, but don't fuck with dog owners. If you are so pissed about a dog shitting on your porch, you are the kinda guy that breaks footballs that kids kick into your yard.

2019-09-01 17:16:35 UTC

Although yeah more dog waste bins is fine

2019-09-01 17:17:37 UTC

Cringe

2019-09-01 17:17:42 UTC

Also the law that stops immigrants from working until they have jobs is entirely non functional

2019-09-01 17:17:54 UTC

Just kick them out retard

2019-09-01 17:18:24 UTC

cringe

2019-09-01 17:18:36 UTC

It would be more beneficial to make literal labour camps (not like Auschwitz, a large complex where you can let these people have safe jobs and work for the country but also not intermix with the local populace)

2019-09-01 17:20:46 UTC

Maybe use refugees and immigrants as a workforce for expanding green energy and nuclear power

2019-09-01 18:11:45 UTC

@Sven Brender that's what the workforce act was for but cheers for the feedback

2019-09-01 18:12:12 UTC

Also overall what do you think?

2019-09-01 18:13:42 UTC

It's fine

2019-09-01 18:14:04 UTC

Maybe a bit optimistic and a bit focused on the climate with not much room for economy, but overall an interesting take

2019-09-01 18:37:18 UTC

I just don't really know why would you spend so much time on doing a fanfic about new laws, whily we don't even have any power to begin with

2019-09-01 19:14:31 UTC

Let them do what they want to do.

2019-09-01 19:14:45 UTC

It's always fun to think about how you would run things.

2019-09-02 01:30:57 UTC

@sandwitch Im going to go into google doc and comment on each proposal in ur manifesto explianing if its good or bad and why

2019-09-02 20:21:39 UTC
