There's no translation that's adequate as someone who speaks multiple languages the entire format is different nothing can be truly translated word for word
I mean, there's like 20 bibles in English alone the catholic church allows
Wait you're trying to claim that Greek mythos isn't real when you don't read ancient Greek? @⍟luminance
Americans mostly use either DRA or NABRE
How you use words and language entirely is different
^^^
Most Americans I know use NKJV, NAS or one of the International versions.
Back when I was a Christian I used an old copy of the NAS
Prottie bibles prolly
I know KJV is
NAS is supposedly a more "literal" translation
Obviously without the ability to consult the original text I can't validate that claim
The truth is out there to be found I know because I was a cringe atheist and I didn't really seek the truth and neither did any other atheists I followed
They repeated the same surface level rhetoric over and over again and jerked off to it
It's much deeper than haha bible contract itself xd
I mean im currently using the NIV version
Pretties that don’t use a Luther bible are cucked
Protties*
Issue with NIV, it's missing books
Yeah the bible is wonderful you really have to pick it apart to really understand it
Is NIV a protty bible
Yes
Of course it’s missing books then
@Phil With Frankincense yeah i downloaded the lost books on my phone, i never heard of Maccabees but the name sounds familiar
The cringey Atheism 2.0 shit is what initially got me into doubting my Christian values but the thing that ultimately led me to becoming an atheist was borne of my own internal reflections on faith and morality.
Maccabees is a series of books in the OT
meh
there's either 4 or 2 of them
the millenia old question
Oh okay
I would say that a good 90% of (young) atheists are more of the FACTS AND LOGIC type
of evil is impotence or malevolence
just kept me pondering
Are you talking about American atheists?
Because a lot of Europeans just do not practice, or feel any thought toward religion in particular
It's the Permissive will of God. He would rather we chose Him rather than were forced to choose Him.
^
I didn't until recently
The only justifiable argument anyone can make against God is if they attack the very nature of consciousness itself ex. the measurement problem in quantum physics. If you take it that everything is essentially a dream and reality as a whole is not real, sure.
