i dont live in America so im not actually that well read on America politicians policies etc

I don't think so. A non welfare state free market where the government has little role in economics is way more individualist.

@Sandaledfungus4 i mean from an economic standpoint yes, but socially, welfare states place a large emphasis on individualism and have an extremely liberal conception of "rights" regarding individual freedoms
