"Is how can something which is complete have the potential to be completed"

First we need to establish a few known truths in the bible.

**1** God is omnipotent.

**2** God cannot be "incomplete" because of truth 1.

**3** Point 1 and 2 do not contradict eachother.

Knowing this we can continue to the main argument.

**-** Your question makes no sense in the Christian sense, because God is already fully complete. Why does he want things? He wants *us*, *humans* to make the right choice but has chosen to give us free will. This does not contradict his omnipotence. However not *everything* is complete __outside__ of God, and so he must complete them - but he himself is complete.
