I agree. From everything I can figure, drinking is a net negative, but I don't think it would be so ubiquitous in European culture if there wasn't some value to it.

It might be a value that is nearly invisible, like helping fight parasites or something, or it might be something obvious, like it makes you have more children.

Though I do think you should avoid booze as much as possible. I drank maybe two or three times a year in high school, four times between 18 and 21, and I barely drink now that I'm legal either.

Don't make it a weekly thing

I've sometimes drank a little bit of alcohol while home alone. Not every time but sometimes.

Usually it was vodka

I'm too young to legally drink but I've gotten fucked up a few times before. I don't drink anymore the hangover isn't worth it.

IMO the drinking age should be lowered to 18. The rest of the civilized world pretty much has a legal age around 18.
