There's aspects to it like violence, which connects to testosterone. Maybe look into Mars worship if you like that?

Or the darkness. Darkness isn't evil. It's just the opposite of light. Could look into that aspect of religion.
There's the violence over women aspect of a lot of it. That's got its own interesting pschology that isn't inherently *evil* to like, but I would argue a hinderace to happiness and sense of peace and well-being.
