Better ingredients, better pizza, Papa Johns, the official sponsor of the NFL(Formerly). This is the catch phrase frequently associated with the brand of pizza known as Papa Johns, named after the man himself, Father Johns, a well known priest in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. As a young man, Johns claims to have been subjected to terrible food frequently, driving his desire to become something more and make something better for people. This revolution occurred early in the 1930’s. As he began to learn how to cook, world war 2 was brewing in Europe, and new form of warfare was developing. In order to combat and counter the terrifying might of the Germans, the allies turned to Father Johns in the hope that he could have the answer that they did not have. After 9 years of research and billions f dollars in testing, Johns developed and patented his famous Marinara sauce, a substance rarely found in the universe due to its incredible instability. Johns stabilized the molecule through heavy infusion of his farm bought cheeses and meats, eventually bringing the marinara sauce to a point where it’s energy was capable of being harnessed to create the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Realizing the horror of what he has created, Johns turned his back to warfare, and used his now stable marinara sauce to create pizza, and heal the wounds he had made, one slice at a time
