if you think about it

2019-10-31 11:12:22 UTC

They're covered under figures of speech. I hadn't thought to analyze different types of figures of speech, but I can see how it's useful

2019-10-31 11:12:34 UTC

Well i mean ur talking fractal universe, yesod, water, and the first hermetic principle at that point botis

2019-10-31 11:12:44 UTC

yeah 9 digits

2019-10-31 11:12:54 UTC

When you use a synechdoche that refers to a part of body to mean the whole person, it's literally like casting spells onto their body parts to obey. : d

2019-10-31 11:14:22 UTC

Yesod

2019-10-31 11:14:24 UTC

4(1/4)=6(1/6)
nazis and jews are now the same

2019-10-31 11:14:28 UTC

change my mind

2019-10-31 11:14:38 UTC

I have a shit memory. Is dorieus the one who said that instead of drawing tarot cards, he thinks of numbers?

2019-10-31 11:16:00 UTC

Probably

2019-10-31 11:16:28 UTC

shapes tbh but. numbers are best for describing shapes

2019-10-31 11:17:41 UTC

@Oneiros yea so a popular synecdoche is when referring to sports teams. Like if we're talking american football and i say "cleveland" you know im referring to the browns. Not the city. But the team represents the city as a whole. So the browns are a fraction of the city but when accessing them through language we can use cleveland as the macro to find the browns in football

2019-10-31 11:18:46 UTC

Synecdoches are how we access macro vs micro in language

2019-10-31 11:18:52 UTC

šŸ‘

2019-10-31 11:19:07 UTC

that sounds. too simplified. but i do see the point

2019-10-31 11:20:46 UTC

Thanks for sharing. I was not familiar with this word.

2019-10-31 11:20:53 UTC

but like i said before this is why i cant wait for more about scalar waves to be integrated

2019-10-31 11:21:35 UTC

because these defined macro and micro are not the largest or smallest effecting that area or that it has effect on

2019-10-31 11:22:49 UTC

the team is not the smallest group of people in the city. or the largest force representing it. and the city is not the largest group of people its occupants live in. or the smallest

2019-10-31 11:23:29 UTC

nothing in this is being measured relative to other scales

2019-10-31 11:23:33 UTC

Yea

2019-10-31 11:23:43 UTC

But like when i say

2019-10-31 11:23:47 UTC

Iā€™m at my job

2019-10-31 11:23:56 UTC

8 hour day today

2019-10-31 11:24:03 UTC

"Cleveland made 1 touchdown on monday"

2019-10-31 11:24:06 UTC

1 hour break

2019-10-31 11:24:13 UTC

The city didnt make the touchdown

2019-10-31 11:24:16 UTC

The browns did

2019-10-31 11:24:30 UTC

The information is contained within the larger unit

2019-10-31 11:24:45 UTC

sure but theres an obvious flaw

2019-10-31 11:25:03 UTC

'the usa made a touchdown today' is not technically inaccurate by your logic either

2019-10-31 11:25:04 UTC

So we find specialized information in the synecdoche
