Chess is only a competitive game
soul calibur is fun but the best one was 2 and the new one has some autism
In terms of how good the competitive play is, it goes
Ultimate > smash 4 > Smash 64 > Brawl > Melee
I was rated fide master in highschool
I will face any challenge for chess dominance
Competitive melee is literally just who can glitch the game harder
i haven't played since i was 12 but i'm pretty sure i can win chess just with luck
That's why it's a party game
yes I can see the downs but I don't have it mentally.
@Falls I like siegfried. and mitsurugi cause i like stance based moves.
Bolsa I will destroy you
I was always a nightmare guy, that or astaroth
tend to like big body playstyles
mitsurugi and taki were my mains
You cannot stand against my chessness
i like quick combos and dodging

i played a lot of taki, too. mobile characters are fun as well.
I like having long reach and a lot of blockstun to control neutral
chess is busted
A lot with my heart condition sadly get downs pretty bad.
Unpredictability makes you easier to beat
I specialize in open games
a textbook player <:brainlet:619749634562326538>
i just remember against characters like nightmare i'd usually get my ass kicked if i didn't get into a flow
>textbook
But yeah, comparing platform fighters to arcade fighters is really apples to oranges, they're similar in that your goal is to beat up other players and thats it lmao
one friend always played that octopus mother fucker
>open lines and late game wizardry
i think not over committing is the trick. your enemy will hang themselves, you just have to wait to pull the other end of the rope after they put the noose on.
I drew stockfish once
Come at me
thanks
