Suggestion: "Could you please add pronoun options on your server? Some servers I'm on use let you add your pronoun using roles, like y'all are already using for colors and such. It'd be really welcoming to trans people like myself. Suggested pronouns: he/him/his, she/her/hers, they/them/theirs, e/em/eir, ze/hir/hirs, it/it/its, xe/xem/xer"
Solution: Pronoun roles like the ones suggested sound helpful, but nevertheless fall into the gender/sexuality roles decision that we’ve hosted prior. We want to provide everyone a way of self-expression, through nicknames. From here, anyone who wishes to present themselves through descriptors may do so by appending it through a nickname, often parenthical. For example, take:
Noob Saibot (22/M/demisexual);
Garrus Vakarian (He/Him/His) ; or,
Cassandra Hart (Trans MTF)
That way, whenever you message in the server, it will provide everyone your nickname to see so they can refer to you properly and will appear through nickname ping too.
