you can make a quick replica in blender for reference at first
Well shit, I thought I had finally curbed symbol drawing....
I cant draw fow shit anymore because I didnt do it for 6+ years
and even back then I was a starter
but yeah, shading is an extremely broad and complicated topic
start with primitives
then move on to draiwng fruits or some shit
and keep us updated
avoid smudging as much as possible, it always looks like shit
even if you do it with another peice of paper
Pretty much where I am shading wise on the wacom.
you like them thicc huh
The reference was thicc.
you chose that reference
Yeah, she had a ton of dedicated reference images for artists.
do this
and this
then this
trust me, it will improve your skills significantly
Alrighty. I'll take a go at it for tomorrows drawing stream.
yay for reason
I need to get better at paper shading as it is 😄
doesnt matter what you do it on
your brain doesnt have shaders installed yet
On the wacom, I just paint darkness where I see darkness, and light colours where I see light colours, and then blend. On paper I gotta take into account that all the pencil can draw is more and more darkness.
And take advantage of the fact that the paper has the lightest possible colour everywhere.
use separate layers
1. Lineart
2. Additional detail
3. Shading details
4. Shading
5. Coloring layer group
On the wacom I'm always using paint brushes on seperate layers.
I dont use the wacom tablet for drawing lineart or sketches however. The innacuracy of the smooth surface increases the time it takes me to finish the initial lineart.
And depending on the circumstances, I'm not at home near my computer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzJvHq9-sng I speed drawing video I made. 😃
I did some redraws of old art
nice, i love the last one
yeah its my favorite
