You could also work on thw colors you use, and the way you shade them. Thats the first thing i noticed.
If you wanna fix the way the body looks maybe you can start looking at references of real people
I know this one site that i use every now and then for having refrences to posing
They have thousands upon thousands of pictures and its p neat, only of your interested will i go digging for it again
@dog^แตแตแต What's wrong with the colors?
I drew it a while ago, I found this pretty cool app called MagicPoser that allows me to adjust a male/female's (both manga and realistic) body, and it's really useful. I'm still interested in the site that has reference pictures though, as I still use normal photos, and references for something specific can be kinda hard to find sometimes.
@AccendoArt have you ever painted before? Because that might help explain things.
Im gonna relay some basic stuff here, and its okay if you dont get it, because color theory albiet it seemingly simple its very extensive and sometimes hard to grasp.
@dog^แตแตแต I've painted with both acrylic and water color, but that's it.
Cool, so you probably know not to use black to make a color darker for shading? At the very least not too much, right?
Yeah, you should use the color on the opposite side of the color wheel.
That's what I was taught, anyway
Yeah exactly,
And its kinda hard to do that too on digital but it should still apply
It is man. Is there a particular area on my drawing you're referencing? The skin was supposed to be a blue-grey, but appears to be more grey when I look at it.
Well, all of it really since it looks like you used the same tactic for the whole picture, but im gonna draw your attention to the orange hair since its easier
