And okay. You were talking about highschools that specified in certain subjects. It reminded me of a friend I know who lives in Italy, and she has some type of schooling system like that. I wanted to make sure before giving any advice. I live in the US.

Some more progress on my drawing

@Sebastian Lawe something that I think could help is if you picked a single light source and add shading accordingly. The arm with the gun looks a little strange because it looks like two different light sources are battling it out. Also the butt looks like two marbles, you can fix that but easing in the top of it into the lower back instead of the harsh cut line you currently have.

Also I’m not sure if your going for a low set light source

But the legs look lighter and it’s a bit strange

And I’m sorry for picking more things

I feel bad cus I’m so young, but I have had many art classes

And one of the things my art teacher gets on me about is the action of my surface

So like the walls should have straight up and down lines, is a ruler if you have one. It helps kind of set the scene

I started off with drawing the lighting and the person based on a reference image, and started working on the scenery after the fact based on some reference and imagination. I still need to make some more decisions on the overall lighting.

The reference image I used really exaggerated the butt though XD

The suit the cosplayer was wearing literally looks like it had shading lines baked into it just to make the butt more pronounced.

But even when you see something like that you need to think about the surface underneath. Like think about drawing an elephant’s foot “I know bad example for this but it just happens to be something I’m working on” to get that look and feel of weight you need to think about as draw the under side pressing down and then think about how the rest would respond. It would kind of squish up and form a weird kind of curve that you need to portray or your elephant would feel light as a feather

I wouldnt concern myself with the lighting, make sure your proportions are correct first then break the lights/darks into blocks and go from there
