@goose 6600k is really plenty for anything still

2016-11-01 04:23:22 UTC

same CPU but at 4.6Ghz

2016-11-01 04:23:42 UTC

@jonnyxjonny rx 480 I think still ranks a little a better. The problem is AMD hasn't released the 490 yet

2016-11-01 04:23:58 UTC

Guys, I pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2

2016-11-01 04:24:06 UTC

and I got Battlefield 1

2016-11-01 04:24:32 UTC

sorry 6700k i ment

2016-11-01 04:25:36 UTC

@AndrewB I upgrade from the fx8350 to 6700k ( had to change my ram and motherboard to naturally) and then literally a few days later I saw the 7700k leaks.

2016-11-01 04:25:58 UTC

@GoblinJenkins currently using a GeForce GTX 750 ti graphics card.

2016-11-01 04:25:59 UTC

thats always the case you always buy something and find something better

2016-11-01 04:26:08 UTC

this is what i got the PC for https://robertsspaceindustries.com/

2016-11-01 04:27:37 UTC

@jonnyxjonny Yeah either would be an upgrade then haha. It's one of those things, from what I've seen people usually just pick based on whether they feel more team green or team red, they're both pretty solid cards.

2016-11-01 04:27:57 UTC

Personally I have the 1070 but I still root for AMD

2016-11-01 04:28:40 UTC

MY SCREEN LOCKS ME INTO A TEAN GREEN *sorry caps

2016-11-01 04:28:42 UTC

@GoblinJenkins I had an 800 dollar budget, so i picked the cheapest medium quality graphics card i could find.

2016-11-01 04:29:28 UTC

That's fine dude, when I first built my pc I was on a 600 dollar budget. I've upgrade it a lot since then but yeah, took time.

2016-11-01 04:30:32 UTC

still, GTX 1060 is very promising.

2016-11-01 04:30:42 UTC

I'll make sure to waste my money on that.

2016-11-01 04:30:51 UTC

nah get the 8GB VRAM onces

2016-11-01 04:32:09 UTC

The vram can help a lot

2016-11-01 04:32:21 UTC

Depends though I guess

2016-11-01 04:32:24 UTC

It's one of those things

2016-11-01 04:32:27 UTC

doesn't really how much you have

2016-11-01 04:32:30 UTC

As long as it's enough

2016-11-01 04:32:32 UTC

If it's not

2016-11-01 04:32:34 UTC

You're fucked

2016-11-01 04:32:35 UTC

on the game but i have seen some games use 6.7GB

2016-11-01 04:33:03 UTC

on some games

2016-11-01 04:33:16 UTC

It's kind of hard to tell sometimes

2016-11-01 04:33:24 UTC

Like I thought the Witcher 2 would be a vram hog

2016-11-01 04:33:30 UTC

but it's actually really light on it

2016-11-01 04:33:33 UTC

just run some tools to see whats going on

2016-11-01 04:33:42 UTC

I don't mean hard to see

2016-11-01 04:33:58 UTC

I mean it's hard to know what a game will use exactly without actually just running it

2016-11-01 04:35:14 UTC

oh soryr yeah

2016-11-01 04:37:59 UTC

Anyways it can just vary a lot with different game engines

2016-11-01 04:38:10 UTC

Has anyone tried the special edition of skyrim yet

2016-11-01 04:38:27 UTC

It's actually surprsingly hard to crash compared to the original

2016-11-01 04:38:53 UTC

I was skeptical that the 64 bit change would actually fix the CTD's but it seems a lot better

2016-11-01 04:55:33 UTC

sorry i was not reading
