Avengers Age of Ultron had an important plot point that was left unexplained in the movie but however was explained in the episode of Agents of Shield that aired shortly before the movie released.

Agents of Shield has tied into all the movies since Iron Man 3.

It picked up on Iron Man 3's plot that was left hanging and kept going on it, changing and integrating things that new movies did or even setting up things in the movies.

i did see Dr. Strange, isn't the ending of that supposed to tie into something?
