2017-02-13 08:13:13 UTC

I've been out of school for 2 years

2017-02-13 08:13:20 UTC

I don't have the time for college rn

2017-02-13 08:13:29 UTC

But when I do have the time and money I'm going

2017-02-13 08:13:47 UTC

I graduated a year ago

2017-02-13 08:13:49 UTC

that isnt bad, you still have your credit hours right

2017-02-13 08:14:07 UTC

I honestly don't know

2017-02-13 08:14:21 UTC

I dont have the time to do school. I need to work the jobs I can do right now so I can afford the equipment to form this band.

2017-02-13 08:14:33 UTC

dont do it

2017-02-13 08:14:46 UTC

how confident are you in your band?

2017-02-13 08:15:29 UTC

Amazingly confident. I'm an incredibly talented vocalist, and I have some good people.

2017-02-13 08:16:10 UTC

Even if you are commited, more than 110 percent you will eventually be a few years from now be thinking, "damn, i should have went to college"

2017-02-13 08:16:28 UTC

well good luck to you

2017-02-13 08:16:32 UTC

And most colleges want you to have a diploma or at least a GED

2017-02-13 08:16:33 UTC

Not really. I don't intend to fuck this up.

2017-02-13 08:16:49 UTC

hope it all works out ok

2017-02-13 08:16:53 UTC

It's a very very precise gamble that I have to be careful about.

2017-02-13 08:17:05 UTC

Don't drop out to do music. My friend did the same thing and it went to shit

2017-02-13 08:17:23 UTC

Not everyone is the same.

2017-02-13 08:17:25 UTC

everyone i knew who did that are not doing shit with their lives

2017-02-13 08:17:34 UTC

Not every band is a failure.

2017-02-13 08:18:05 UTC

i had a lot fo friends doing music and even one fo my good friends had a few succesful gigs and palyed with atlas and maps but hes a nobody today

2017-02-13 08:18:23 UTC

he fell off the face of the earth

2017-02-13 08:18:52 UTC

My friend Danny is in a band and has landed a gig at the house of blues. He graduated highschool and is currently enrolling in college. You can't tell me you don't have the time for school

2017-02-13 08:19:04 UTC

This is what I hate about todays society. Everyone thinks that every single motherfucker who wants to form a band is going to be an immediate failure before anything even happens.

2017-02-13 08:19:13 UTC

What i learned in life is 1. Never drop out unless you have somthing special that no one has

2017-02-13 08:19:21 UTC

He is probably the most talented young guitarist I have ever met and very intelligent

2017-02-13 08:19:25 UTC

Because they've watched others do it horribly wrong.

2017-02-13 08:19:25 UTC

2.always have a plan

2017-02-13 08:19:51 UTC

as for the third thing i learned

2017-02-13 08:19:51 UTC

The thing I hate about today's society is edgy teens thinking they understand how the world works

2017-02-13 08:20:18 UTC

3. dont get any tattoos until you have an assload of money and when you are around the age of 24-25

2017-02-13 08:20:21 UTC

I've watched bands fail as well.

2017-02-13 08:20:38 UTC

I'm not uninformed on how much of a gamble it is.

2017-02-13 08:21:03 UTC

Why risk it. Just graduate and figure out your band stuff after

2017-02-13 08:21:24 UTC

Your best thing to do at this moment is just keep doing music as a hobby and do things like school or a job

2017-02-13 08:21:30 UTC

nothing says you need to go to college but at least finish highschool.

2017-02-13 08:21:31 UTC

yes.. When I'm working a job that takes away 90% of my time.

2017-02-13 08:21:53 UTC

if you take it as a gamble then you are setting yourself up to failure, your expectations are too high

2017-02-13 08:22:04 UTC

baby steps

2017-02-13 08:22:15 UTC

I see a lot of pessimism.

2017-02-13 08:22:44 UTC

so if you do this music thing then be smart about it, dont go head diving into a flat surface like that
