2017-02-14 02:47:19 UTC
2017-02-14 02:47:45 UTC

100k cubic feet per second of water for over 24 hours will do that

2017-02-14 02:47:50 UTC

sorry oroville et al

2017-02-14 02:47:57 UTC

sux

2017-02-14 02:48:06 UTC

Nugget.

2017-02-14 02:48:29 UTC

I guess it's better than having to be evacuated for having no water

2017-02-14 02:48:36 UTC

Because that nearly happened

2017-02-14 02:49:52 UTC

its still supposed to rain more where i live

2017-02-14 02:50:19 UTC

Good luck

2017-02-14 02:51:05 UTC

at least it isnt 23 feet of snow

2017-02-14 02:51:10 UTC

my uncle is in norcal

2017-02-14 02:51:17 UTC

and they got that much in the mountains

2017-02-14 02:51:20 UTC

so i hear

2017-02-14 02:51:43 UTC

meanwhile my college had a day off over 1.5 feet

2017-02-14 02:51:52 UTC

The snow we get is always caught by the mountains and never reaches the lake unless it's runoff

2017-02-14 02:51:57 UTC

i swear people in california are like "yeah we need rain i really want rain." then it rains and they say, "oh fucking god i hate rain i dont want it"

2017-02-14 02:51:58 UTC

(and some ice storms, so i mean, no commuters)

2017-02-14 02:52:42 UTC

We're babies like that. We think anything below 70 degrees is freezing

2017-02-14 02:52:53 UTC

california^

2017-02-14 02:53:23 UTC

I once slept in 38 below

2017-02-14 02:53:45 UTC

which in utah is 2 degrees above the legal limit for sleeping outside, that being negative 40

2017-02-14 02:53:50 UTC

fun fact

2017-02-14 02:54:07 UTC

Yes I was in a sleeping bag under a tarp

2017-02-14 02:54:27 UTC

theres a legal limit for sleeping outside? the more you know...

2017-02-14 02:54:44 UTC

for temperature yeah

2017-02-14 02:55:16 UTC

im homeless i try to sleep and cops just keep arresting me idk why

2017-02-14 02:55:25 UTC

for like, camping groups as a company

2017-02-14 02:55:44 UTC

I should've clarified

2017-02-14 02:55:57 UTC

I'm sure there are cases where the temp rule does not apply

2017-02-14 02:56:11 UTC

anyway it snowed about a foot on my tarp

2017-02-14 02:56:17 UTC

nasty time indeed

2017-02-14 02:56:28 UTC

The coldest it's ever gotten here was 28 degrees and that was like eight years ago. Very unusual for northern Cali. I remember distinctly that one of the water fountains at the school blew a pipe because of the pressure from the frozen water inside

2017-02-14 02:56:52 UTC

oof bad luck

2017-02-14 02:57:24 UTC

its gone below 28 here as well but only a couple of times

2017-02-14 02:57:27 UTC

that is why our home in new hampshire is set to warm to 55 when the outside temp drops below 32 and the inside temp below 65

2017-02-14 02:57:50 UTC

oh it's been way colder here in Rhode Island where I go to college

2017-02-14 02:58:02 UTC

all the conditions have to be spot on to even reach blow 40

2017-02-14 02:58:09 UTC
