2017-02-15 22:34:55 UTC

well more or less agnostic i kinda think religion is toxic but people can do whatever they want

2017-02-15 22:35:17 UTC

Agnostic

2017-02-15 22:35:36 UTC

I grew up with a catholic family seeing as my dads side is italian

2017-02-15 22:35:41 UTC

2017-02-15 22:36:53 UTC

I grew up in a family that was kinda religious, but not really. My parents weren't all that religious and never forced me to believe anything. My uncle tried to convert me to Christianity, but I couldn't force myself to get into it

2017-02-15 22:37:04 UTC

Religion is both good and bad

2017-02-15 22:37:05 UTC

my parents are more or less agnostic i think they both believe in reincarnation or some shit

2017-02-15 22:37:10 UTC

Religion is pretty toxic. Like I don't want to come off as a dick, but I think Muslims should be more severely vetted. Around 50% of them believe in shariah law (a law where people who say bad stuff about Muslims or Islam should be punished)

2017-02-15 22:37:14 UTC

i think organized religion is whats bad

2017-02-15 22:37:30 UTC

religious belief in general isnt inherently toxic

2017-02-15 22:37:38 UTC

Bad in the sense that it creates arguments and conflict. Good in the sense that I've seen it help some get out of depression.

2017-02-15 22:37:39 UTC

me and all my sisters are atheists, my religious parents (heil greek orthodox church) did not take it well for years

2017-02-15 22:38:05 UTC

@KindledNinja can't forget how much they hate the gays

2017-02-15 22:38:05 UTC

Yeah. Churches make me pop a rage boner when i walk past them.

2017-02-15 22:38:09 UTC

that's hope, not religion

2017-02-15 22:38:12 UTC

I'm agnostic myself, but I come from a religious family

2017-02-15 22:38:19 UTC

Religion gives hope

2017-02-15 22:38:22 UTC

That's the thing

2017-02-15 22:38:40 UTC

@DuskyDawn7 And their abuse and stoning to death of women.

2017-02-15 22:38:41 UTC

While giving a bunch of other horrible shit, hope can be found elsewhere

2017-02-15 22:38:47 UTC

religious institution is what i take issue with but not religious individuals

2017-02-15 22:39:22 UTC

Here we have a saying "Never trust a doctor with too many pictures of saints in his office"

2017-02-15 22:39:47 UTC

and it's true, I always trust a bit less religious people

2017-02-15 22:40:05 UTC

Religion is what I like to call "concentrated ignorance," a way for ignorants to explain things they can't understand, as opposed to science.

2017-02-15 22:40:21 UTC

yeah, @KindledNinja you're probably right about that.

2017-02-15 22:40:28 UTC

i wouldn't put it so harshly but its hard to disagree

2017-02-15 22:40:37 UTC

humans are ignorant beings

2017-02-15 22:41:15 UTC

I had a really good Christian friend in high school. I remember we used to talk abortion a lot and even though we completely disagreed on the issue, we both respected each other's opinions and didn't hate each other for them. She was cool

2017-02-15 22:41:15 UTC

Also, from experience, it is a way to deal with fucking up with your life and wasting it. Example my father, he needs to believe there's something after to keep going

2017-02-15 22:41:30 UTC

what's up sexy ladies

2017-02-15 22:41:32 UTC

Or someone forced into it by parents or relatives. My parents tried to force me to go, but I had none of that.

2017-02-15 22:41:35 UTC

and sexy lads

2017-02-15 22:41:40 UTC

and sexy everything in between

2017-02-15 22:41:50 UTC
