EA badly wanted Inquisiition to be a next gen launch title .But BioWare wanted an extension because they weren't happy with it yet. For instance they wanted to add in the ability to play as other races instead of just human like EA forced them to do in Dragon Age II to make the deadline.

And EA in a bizzarely out of character move gave them the extension, giving up being a launch title.

Yeah. I love Inquisition and I'm glad Bioware got to make the game they wanted to, but you can definitely tell that things like Gifts of the Avarr were cut off of the game for DLC. It's such a shame that Bioware is handcuffed to such a shitty company, barring one dickhead

I hoped they'd turned over a new leaf, but nope, back to their usual antics with the DLC.

Inquisition was ok but wasn't the same as what was shown off in trailers

EA screwed ovre last gen players. They promised that anyone who purchased any DLC within a month of its release on the last gen consoles would automatically own the next gen equivalent in that console family so it was there for them when they finally got a next gen console.

They lied.

The whole promotion was a lie. No such thing happened and everyone that moved to next gen had to rebuy the DLC.
