Yeah the stupidity of the characters really hampered my enjoyment for the movie

It wasn't like a typical horror movie in that it was just a bunch of teenagers, where you could believe their stupidity since there really are people that dumb.

But this was supposed to be an elite team of experienced scientists that are some of the best in their fields.

That's what makes their outragous stupidity that much worse.

Like when the scientist fucks with the little alien creature
