Spent most of the day adulting.

Job applications and phone calls and other such things.

And trying to get the pos printer to work.

It worked long enough to make a mess. Spat ink across the paper, but would not print the pattern I intended to print.

Then the cat attacked it.

He attacks everything. At least once. Rite of passage I guess.

He attacked an apple core for not being something he wanted to eat.

It had the audacity to not taste good, so he slapped it off the table.

My uncle has two dogs that like to beg for food. They're always there when we go there for Christmas. My dad tried to feed pickled herring to one of them. She was having none of that. Decided it smelled bad and left it there on the floor. The other dog comes in and inhales it in a second.

I made some preserved salmon recently. Soaked in soy sauce and sugar, then dehydrated it. The cats lost their shit.
