Yeah I wish they would have just added another thumb stick like they did with the vita
It's like Nintendo of Japan thinks everyone in the world has tiny hands.
They always seem to do that. Making everthing just a bit too small and cramped.
you know what Tank Controls are right?
Yes sir
I meant that to Emma
But yea
how stupid is that
a fucking hashtag
Reminds me of the absolute worst 3DS game I played.
Steel Diver. It was terrible. The concept was okay but the controls were beyond terrible. It was gimmicky and all touch based. But the 3DS touch screen is single point. You can only do one action at the time. The developers of Steel Diver don't seem to have been aware of that fact. Several points in the game require you to do two or more actions at the exact same time, which isn't possible because it's all through the touch screen. Eventually you'll reach a point you just can't continue.
That's why controllers are great
I just wish Nintendo would stop with these damned control gimmicks and just use practical, reliable controls.
They do it every single time now and every time it blows up in their face in one form or another.
Yet they keep on doing it.
Every new system has some sort of absurd hardware gimmick that ends up not being particularly reliable.
Steel Diver is cool ;-;
Once the initial thrill is gone it's just a chore to get through.
Motion controls got a lot of people to buy the Wii. but they were so difficult to work with that it turned a lot of third party developers away and the system had terrible game sales. Most Wii owners played it for a few minutes and then never used it again, they collected dust. The majority of those who kept using it just used the streaming functions. The dedicated fans who kept with it mostly only bought first party titles so it was a very poor market for third parties.
The 3DS then kept the motion control gimmick restricted to what it works best at. Precision aiming, that's it.
The Zelda remasters on the 3DS were nice in that they kept all the hardware gimmicks restricted to what they functioned best at, motion with preciision aiming, and touch with maps and menus. With the main controls being practical controls.
I'd say that the 3DS is their best system because their hardware gimmicks are balanced and the main gimmick was entirely optional and could be disabled easily.
i really like the 3ds
i still have my first one
I do enjoy the 3D a lot more on the New 3DS with its more dynamic 3D effect
those old shiny ones
3DS is a cool console, but it had it's problems, obviously, like lack of third party good games
I gave my first one to my cousin after I transfered to the N3DS.
Fuck the 3D its not needed
the 3d framerate issues on pokemon
