@ViperChan Make America Great Again

2017-03-11 07:34:08 UTC

thanks for the vid

2017-03-11 07:35:47 UTC

Try watching more from that channel, it should help.

2017-03-11 07:36:10 UTC

Specific questions I can help with but I won't just give you the answer. It's a poor teacher that does the work for you.

2017-03-11 07:36:30 UTC

but legit i am so tired i cant concentrate on doing actually maths as practice for my test (which is on next wednesday) so i think this will help me at least learn something

2017-03-11 07:37:17 UTC

I'm waiting for PBS Digital Studios to create an entry level mathematics channel. They are the absolute best at making any subject, no matter how difficult to compreend, very easy to understand.

2017-03-11 07:38:01 UTC

Unfortunately their only channel covering mathematics is their new one called Infinite Series. Which is directed towards people like me, experts who are already very knowledgable in most math subjects.

2017-03-11 07:38:40 UTC

They have introductory science channels like Physics Girl, and a high end science channel called Space Time.

2017-03-11 07:39:25 UTC

what kinds of jobs incorporate biology 🤔

2017-03-11 07:39:43 UTC

That's something you should just google. 😄

2017-03-11 07:39:47 UTC

it is by far my favourite thing to learn

2017-03-11 07:39:52 UTC

yea i should

2017-03-11 07:39:53 UTC

lol

2017-03-11 07:40:31 UTC

Most biology courses are going to require learning more complciated math than others would. Like, say, a degree in some law field.

2017-03-11 07:40:57 UTC

It's annoying though because most professional biologists don't do their own mathematical work. They outsource it to people like me.

2017-03-11 07:41:05 UTC

That's the case in nearly every field of science.

2017-03-11 07:41:20 UTC

ee

2017-03-11 07:41:20 UTC

Most professional scientists have little to no understanding of basic mathematics.

2017-03-11 07:41:27 UTC

They outsource it all.

2017-03-11 07:41:31 UTC

guess i have to learn some maths so i wont be an asshole

2017-03-11 07:41:55 UTC

That's some of the dirty little secrets they don't like advertising because it undermines the crediblity of some of their more controversial claims.

2017-03-11 07:42:14 UTC

but really- bioloogical stuff is fuckn amazing and like awtching those cool documentaries as a kid really got me into it

2017-03-11 07:42:43 UTC

i know a job regarding it is likely different but still

2017-03-11 07:42:47 UTC

xd

2017-03-11 07:43:02 UTC

You're going to be required to take some math courses for the degree but once you've got the degree you're likely to have little use of it again because it'll all be oursourced to a qualified mathematician

2017-03-11 07:43:26 UTC

well at least i can teach my kids maths like my mother taught/still sometimes teaches me

2017-03-11 07:44:43 UTC

In the larger context, algebra is more like.... well learning division really. To higher levels of mathematics it's just one of the very basic operations, one of the languae rules of mathematics, and not really an actual subject in itself.

2017-03-11 07:44:49 UTC

I'm studying applied mathematics and computer science atm. 3rd degree. To the person requring some basic explanation of linear algebra check out Khan academy

2017-03-11 07:45:13 UTC

Actually that's a pretty good degree combination. I was thinking of combining mine with a second but can't decide which.

2017-03-11 07:45:50 UTC

Yeah the double major is tough but very exciting Emma.

2017-03-11 07:46:05 UTC

It's not an issue for me now because I can't afford to go back. But I am hoping someday I can.

2017-03-11 07:46:47 UTC

i have no idea since im still in highschool and not in my last year

2017-03-11 07:46:59 UTC

There were many contributing factors, but a major one was that I was being forced, by my parents, to continue taking a medication for aspergers that was only making me lethargic and barely functional. If I stopped, they threatened to cut me off and at the time I could not have survived that.

2017-03-11 07:47:09 UTC

It shreaded any chances of me continuing past my first year.

2017-03-11 07:47:18 UTC

They let me stop taking it after they ruined my college run.

2017-03-11 07:48:12 UTC

I did neuroscience first and there are amazing online courses you can do (the moocs). Was in the same boat as you. Paying for the modules I can. Had to do career change because I cant stand in a lab anymore (health).

2017-03-11 07:48:16 UTC

After that I qualfiied for social security and made it on my own. Every attempt to get a job ending in denial. I never even was given an interview. They just took one look and threw it away and never got back to me.

2017-03-11 07:48:35 UTC

That's really tough Emma

2017-03-11 07:48:35 UTC

I hate being on government benfits but no matter what I do I can't seem to dig myself out of it.

2017-03-11 07:48:49 UTC

The biggest problem with it is that they won't let you be frugal.

2017-03-11 07:49:15 UTC

I can only imasa
