Zelda BOTW I've heard is really good, but paying $300 for a console just for 1 game doesn't seem worth it

If you don't hold the button down before you put the joycon back on, that little peg that keeps in in place gets worn down by a lot.

2017-03-23 14:42:21 UTC

It's made of stupidly soft and weak plastic that wears out incredibly fast.

2017-03-23 14:42:27 UTC

And if you drop it, that peg's gonna break.

2017-03-23 14:42:53 UTC

S: that sounsdds gey

2017-03-23 14:43:58 UTC

Nintendo has constantly done the same thing with the stylus they used on all their handhelds.

2017-03-23 14:44:33 UTC

ngl i dont like using the stylist i just use my dumb ass thumbs lol

2017-03-23 14:44:38 UTC

Those were made of harder plastic than what's used on the Switch, but they still wore out fast.

2017-03-23 14:45:00 UTC

But stylus is considerably easier, and cheaper, to replace than a joy con or the whole system.

2017-03-23 14:45:16 UTC

The Switch's screen is also made out of a very weak and easily damaged plastic.

2017-03-23 14:45:18 UTC

do old remotes still work on the switch

2017-03-23 14:45:24 UTC

Instead of glass like all their other systems.

2017-03-23 14:45:26 UTC

or only the new stupid remote?

2017-03-23 14:45:43 UTC

0:

2017-03-23 14:48:20 UTC

like the game cube controllers

2017-03-23 14:49:42 UTC

Sounds like the new stupid remote or the new pro controller only.

2017-03-23 14:50:17 UTC

holy fuck great nao i gotta throw all my gamecube remotes and wii motes out the window

2017-03-23 14:54:34 UTC

rip

2017-03-23 14:57:14 UTC

The pro controller this time actually looks like their best controller layout ever.

2017-03-23 14:57:29 UTC

However, like the rest of the system, it was extremely cheaply made.

2017-03-23 14:57:59 UTC

The analog sticks wear out very quickly, becoming loose, like the one on the N64 did. And they tend to get stuck.

2017-03-23 14:58:16 UTC

I'd suggest waiting for third party pro controllers and using one of them.

2017-03-23 14:58:52 UTC

Honeslty the whole console comes off as a half-assed, poorly made bootleg system from China.

2017-03-23 14:59:02 UTC

Rather than something official from Nintendo

2017-03-23 15:00:18 UTC

i rlly liked the game cubes design and the controllers were easy to use and never rlly broke unless my dog ate them,

i mean compared to the wii u which falls over and often gets kicked due to its rectangular shape, the g cube could be kicked and be fine literally i had my wii u in my living room and everyone always bumped into it

2017-03-23 15:00:31 UTC

they needa go back to squares

2017-03-23 15:01:33 UTC

the new system looks good appearance wise just doesnt seem like its all cracked up to be

2017-03-23 15:01:45 UTC

I don't understand the undying love of the GameCube's controllers.

2017-03-23 15:02:02 UTC

the fact u can hold it and it wont feel weird

2017-03-23 15:02:06 UTC

and isn bulky

2017-03-23 15:02:08 UTC

The layout was good, but the form factor was terrible.

2017-03-23 15:02:22 UTC

It was way too small for my hands. And I was 11 when I got one.

2017-03-23 15:02:31 UTC

It also holds your wrists too close together.

2017-03-23 15:02:43 UTC

Have to noticed how all controllers have a bowed shape now? A curve to them?

2017-03-23 15:02:47 UTC

Yeah.... that's why

2017-03-23 15:03:18 UTC

Designs like on the GameCube controller ***ABSOLUTELY*** would damage your wrists with prolonged use.

2017-03-23 15:03:33 UTC

And Nintend didn't seem to get that lesson until recently.

2017-03-23 15:03:40 UTC

idk i guess my hands are tiny

2017-03-23 15:03:50 UTC

That's why so many Wii, DS, and 3DS games nagged you about taking breaks.

2017-03-23 15:03:52 UTC

;-;

2017-03-23 15:04:20 UTC

Because Nintendo knew its designs were bad for your wrists but they didn't do anything to fix it beyond warning you, vaguely, that playing too long was bad for your health.
